There are so many things that can bring anxiety and overwhelm to us every day.

It's up to us to take our power back,

Our control,

And use our bodies and minds to calm what's going on on the inside to take the time to treat ourselves to a quiet space.

We deserve joy.

We were not put here to suffer,

And you are worth it.

Make sure you take time every day to be in quiet.

Today,

Get yourself in a nice,

Relaxing space.

Take a deep breath in and out and in and out.

I want you to imagine you're laying in the warm sun on the beach,

Waves coming from the ocean rolling gently toward you.

I want you to release any tension in your feet,

Any tension in your ankles,

Your calves,

Your knees,

Your thighs,

Up to your hips,

Your abdomen.

Breathe in here while you let the air fill up your lungs.

Hold it in and release any of your worries,

Any of that stress that you're holding in your body.

Feel the tension release in the muscles,

In your arms,

Your shoulders,

All the way up to your neck.

Breathe in here.

A lot of us hold tension in our necks.

I want you to breathe in,

And as you're breathing in,

Imagine stretching those muscles out,

Releasing any toxicity,

Any tension,

And letting it just flow out of you.

Imagine those waves still crashing gently back and forth.

And now feel the tension in your face.

Relax,

Starting with your jaw.

Let it loosen.

Really pay attention.

If you want to let your jaw hang open,

Breathe in.

Just feel the lack of tension.

Let the muscles in your cheeks next to your nose and under your eyes soften.

Let your forehead muscles loosen up.

Let your eyes,

Even back in your eye sockets,

Just relax.

Take a deep breath in here,

And imagine your worries like grains of sand flying away into the distance and just being.

I want you to just lay here and just be on the sand,

Feeling the warmth on your body,

The sun's light shining on your face,

Birds chirping in the distance,

The rustle of palm trees around you.

No worries.

Many of our worries are illusions that we create,

And it's time to let them go.

Repeat after me.

There's no space for this anxiety.

There's no space for this overwhelm.

Life comes easy to me.

I deserve peace and calm.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

And let yourself be for a few more moments before you start this day.
