I'm Gisele Bündchen and I will be guiding you in this meditation.
Just as it is important to begin every day with gratitude,
It is important to take a few moments to reflect on your day as it comes to an end.
These moments of reflection allow you to notice things that happen and choose to focus on the moments that made you feel good.
By focusing your attention on the moments that brought you joy,
However simple they might be,
You will be able to see life with more optimism.
You might not always realize it,
But happiness can be found in small,
Simple moments.
That is why it is important,
Before going to sleep,
To take a few moments to reflect on your day,
Choosing to focus on the moments that brought you joy,
Helping you have a restorative and restful sleep.
Let's begin.
Lie down in a comfortable position.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Relax your body.
Notice any pent up tension in your body.
And with every exhale,
Let it go.
Inhale.
Feeling the breath travel all the way down to your belly.
As you exhale,
Let go of any tension.
Start by wiggling your toes,
Relaxing your feet,
Your knees,
Your legs.
Feel your hips relaxing.
And with each breath,
Feel another part of your body relaxing even more.
Now feel the breath travelling down your spine,
Relaxing your entire back.
Relax your shoulders.
Feel your arms becoming light.
And your hands resting comfortably.
Relax your neck,
Your head.
Relax your eyelids,
Your jaw.
Take a deep breath in.
And exhale,
Letting everything go.
Once again,
Take a deep breath in.
Exhale,
Letting go.
With each new breath,
Your body is getting more and more relaxed.
Notice how good your body feels after each deep breath.
You feel calmer.
You feel more relaxed.
You feel at peace.
Now if you can bring your attention to a moment of joy you experienced today.
It can be a smile someone gave you,
A conversation you had with a friend,
A new accomplishment,
A beautiful sunset,
A delicious meal or an act of kindness you gave or received.
Bring your attention to a moment that made you feel good today and that you truly enjoyed.
Notice how the memory of that moment generates a wonderful sensation throughout your entire body.
When you focus on positive thoughts,
It helps raise your vibration which elevates your thoughts,
Your attitudes and your actions,
Creating more positivity in your life.
If you want more love,
Become more loving.
If you want more peace,
Become more peaceful.
If you want more abundance,
Become more generous.
Be present here and now.
Be aware that your thoughts and attitudes shape your reality.
When you choose to live in a state of gratitude,
You will notice that it brings a greater sense of connection,
Joy and fulfillment into your life.
Keep growing and nourishing those feelings.
What you give to the universe,
It will give you back.
No matter what happened today,
By focusing on acceptance,
Forgiveness and love,
You will heal.
If you do this every night before you go to sleep,
You will become more aware of what brings you joy.
And you will be better able to create more of those moments in your life.
Your thoughts create your reality.
So remember whenever possible to fill your heart with gratitude and to keep inviting more of that energy into your life.
Before we end our meditation,
Take a deep breath in and relax into the knowing that tomorrow will bring you experiences and opportunities to explore.
