Let us begin by breathing in through the nose.
And slowly back out.
Again,
In through the nose.
And slowly releasing.
And on this next one,
As you breathe in,
See if you can breathe into full capacity.
And as you reach the top,
Slowly release,
Letting it all go.
And on your exhale,
See if you can soften the muscles that might be holding in your body.
Continue breathing like this.
And softening the muscles around the eyes.
Relaxing your jaw.
Letting your shoulders fall away from the ears.
Maybe there's some audible sounds that are releasing from you.
Hmm.
.
.
Softening your belly.
There's no need to hold on.
No need to clench.
Really inviting a softening.
Letting go of any tension in your sit bones.
In your legs.
And just allowing the body.
To feel.
A little more relaxation.
Simply by noticing.
Where there might be holding.
And then allowing your breath.
To let it go.
And just staying with your breath in this way.
Breathing in,
Thinking of expansion.
And then breathing out.
Thinking of contraction.
And you may say to yourself,
I'm breathing in.
And I'm breathing out.
If the mind needs something to focus on.
Or you could count.
How many seconds you might breathe in.
And then how many seconds your out breath may be.
So I'm noticing I'm breathing in.
And I'm breathing out.
Hmm.
.
.
If you feel supported by imagery.
You can imagine a wave.
Moving into shore.
And receding back out.
Back and forth.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Softening the body.
Making space for relaxation.
Making space for you to be right here.
Right now.
With your breath.
And the relaxation of the body.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
In letting yourself be nourished by your own breath.
Feeling connection.
To your very life force.
Being with.
And noticing.
Your breath.
And letting yourself be here.
For as long as you need.
And when you feel ready.
To come back into the space around you.
Prepare your next breath to bring you back into the room or the space that you're in.
Feeling the weight of your body.
And,
If your eyes are closed,
Gently opening them.
And taking a look around.
Noticing the different sights around you,
Maybe colors,
Hmm.
.
.
And continuing on your day.
