Okay,
Welcome.
So I will be guiding us through a short guided meditation stay.
All you're going to need is something comfortable to sit on,
Whether that's on a chair,
On your meditation cushion,
Or on the earth beneath you.
And when you're ready,
Let's begin.
So finding your comfortable seat and allowing yourself to take note of whatever points of contact you are making with the earth,
Whether that is through your sitz bones or your feet or whatever other parts of your body are connecting to the earth.
Just allow yourself to notice that connection with the ground.
And as you're doing so,
Allow yourself to soften and release your entire body here.
While you're softening and releasing,
Allow yourself to create a little bit of length through the torso,
Creating some length through the upper back,
Lengthening through your spine.
As you're lengthening through your spine,
Allow yourself to roll the shoulders away from the ears and bring a little bit of the top of the chin in towards the chest,
Softening through the eyebrows,
Through the ears,
Through the lips,
And softening through your eyelids as well.
And wherever your arms are,
Allow them to rest comfortably,
Elbows by your side ribs,
Palms facing up or down,
Whatever feels best here.
And we also want to make sure that as we are connecting to the earth beneath us,
As we're relaxing through the body,
As we're lengthening through our torso and our upper back,
And as we're rolling the shoulders away from the ears,
We want to grow through the crown of our head.
And to grow through the crown of our head,
Again,
We want to make sure that we have our chin tucked in towards the chest.
We're softening through the lips,
Through the ears,
Through the nose,
Through the eyes,
Crown of the head reaching up.
And just give yourself a moment here to be as you are and continue to roll the shoulders away from the ears.
And again,
When you're ready to do so,
Starting to rub the fingers together and bringing the palms to pray here in front of the heart.
Just giving yourself a moment to express gratitude towards yourself for making the time for this short little sit and just expressing gratitude towards yourself for showing up for your own well-being and for the well-being of others.
So thank you for joining me in this practice and I hope that this served you and I hope that you have a beautiful and wonderful remainder rest of your day.
Namaste.
