Hello again and welcome to day 9 of this 22 day meditation series.

Intention is the starting point of every dream.

If we want to free ourselves from our negative patterns and addictive behaviors,

We have to want to change.

It is when we become willing and set the intention to change that the universe opens a doorway and the opportunities we need to spark change begin to be given to us.

However,

Even after becoming willing to change and make healthier choices,

Sometimes it can be challenging to translate our good intentions into choices.

With that being said though,

If we really want to change,

The best way for us to do so is to harness the power of meditation along with intention to create what we desire.

The number one reason for this is because meditation takes us beyond our ego mind into the stillness and silence of the field of pure potentiality,

The space between our thoughts,

Sometimes referred to as the gap.

This space between our thoughts is unbounded consciousness.

It is a field of all possibilities.

It is a field of all possibilities because between any two thoughts is the possibility for any other thought to arise.

This means that through meditation we actually gain access to unlimited power because a field of all possibilities reveals itself to us.

Now that we have this information,

We can see that connecting with this field of all possibilities is the best way to empower our intention because when we set an intention and let go of it right before we meditate,

We are releasing it into a fertile ground of all possibilities and putting this unlimited power of the universe to work for us.

Now let's all set the intention for freedom from our negative habitual behaviors and prepare to meditate so we can let go of this intention and release it into the fertile ground of pure potentiality.

Begin by finding a comfortable seat and closing your eyes.

Now begin to become aware of the breath,

Not focusing or concentrating.

Just simply watch the breath as it naturally flows in and out.

Now easily and effortlessly begin silently repeating today's mantra,

Om Ratam Nama.

Om Ratam Nama.

Om Ratam Nama.

Continue to repeat this mantra,

Om Ratam Nama.

And whenever you notice yourself distracted by thoughts,

Noises in your environment,

Or physical sensations,

Simply return your attention to silently repeating the mantra,

Om Ratam Nama.

Om Ratam Nama.

Om Ratam Nama.

Please continue with your meditation.

I will watch the time and when it's time to end our meditation,

You will hear me ring a soft chime.

When you hear the chime,

Stop repeating the mantra and continue sitting quietly with your eyes closed.

Enjoy your meditation.

Om Ratam Nama.

It's time to release silently repeating the mantra Om Ratam Nama and continue sitting quietly with your eyes closed.

Now begin to bring some slight movement into your body by wiggling your fingers and toes.

Whenever it feels comfortable slowly open your eyes.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and I look forward to meditating with you again tomorrow for day 10 of navigating recovery and overcoming adversity.

Namaste.

Om Ratam Nama.

Loving the gentle reminders and the focus of each day. Don't understand the idea of tapping into a field of endless possibilities but willing to suspend that need. Still wish I could learn where the music of each day comes from.
