Hello beautiful souls and welcome back to my channel.
If you're new here,
My name is Danielle and today we begin a journey of deep relaxation and rejuvenation.
It's time for you to create a haven for your yoga nidra experience.
Dim the lights and gather some comforting elements to set the stage for peace and relaxation.
If you've chosen to lie on your back,
Ensure ultimate comfort with a blanket under your head,
Pillows beneath your knees,
And perhaps some socks if your feet tend to get cold.
Prioritize your well-being.
You have earned this time for you.
Take a moment to appreciate your hard work and make sure everything is just right.
Turn your palms upwards,
Allowing your legs to naturally roll out.
Visualize distractions as you settle into the practice of yoga nidra,
A restful session designed for deep self-care,
A moment to replenish your energy.
Now let's make those final adjustments to enhance your comfort,
Signaling the mind it's time to start this well-deserved break from doing into deep relaxation.
Close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in and sigh out with ease.
Do this three more times.
Let the breath release from your body with no force.
During this yoga nidra practice,
I invite you to witness all of these different sensations and welcome anything that comes up.
Allow your body to settle into peace and stillness.
I would like you to let your body land.
Feel the ground beneath you by softening,
By letting go.
Feel any of those areas in your body that are tensing up and tell yourself to let go.
It's safe.
It's cozy.
It's your time to release.
Feel yourself being held,
Cradled and supported by compassion and by love.
Feel your breath out.
Let your breath out begin to elongate with ease as you bring your awareness to your navel center.
Feel the navel descending with each exhale.
With gravity towards the spine,
Softening in the belly.
Each breath out,
Feel yourself,
Breath by breath,
Letting go a bit further.
Watch the navel relax,
Letting go downward,
Feeling the breath welcoming in peace.
Feeling your eyes drifting to the center of your being,
Deeply letting go.
As your eyes relax,
Find an inner gaze into your energetic heart,
Right between your lungs,
Deep down in your center.
Feeling this soothing place away from any commotion of the external world.
Deep in your being,
Feeling this compassion holding you,
Giving you permission to release.
Now seeing a gentle glow of your inner light as you feel your breath coming and going.
Feel your body settling into peace and your mind slowly beginning to quiet.
Bring your awareness now to your intention for today's Yoga Nidra practice,
Your Sankalpa.
Repeat it to yourself.
If you do not have one,
Think about how you would like to feel during and after your practice today.
Maybe you would like to feel more peace,
Joy,
Calm,
Or overall well-being.
Your Sankalpa can be a short phrase or a word.
Let it be your anchor of support throughout this practice and your daily life.
You're welcome to use this intention if you'd like.
I release all tension and my mind is calm and serene.
I release all tension and my mind is calm and serene.
I release all tension and my mind is calm and serene.
Begin to follow my voice through the body,
Envisioning a ray of warm white light moving into each space that I mention to soothe and relax.
Begin by bringing your attention to the crown of your head.
Feel a sense of softness and release any tension in this area.
Enter a warm,
Soothing light gently descending,
Bringing ease into the mind.
Shift your awareness to your right eye.
Feel the subtle sensations around your eye,
Allowing any tension to dissolve.
Shift your focus to the left eye,
Releasing any strain.
Feel both eyes releasing fatigue.
Move your awareness to your right cheek,
Sensing the softness there.
Over to your left cheek.
Let go of any tightness.
Feel both cheeks,
Releasing any holding sensations,
Allowing your facial muscles to relax.
Drift your attention to your mouth.
Notice any sensations in your lips,
Tongue,
And jaw.
Allow them to soften.
Bring ease into your mouth.
Drift a little further into your neck.
Feel the gentle support beneath you.
Let go any tightness you feel.
Release it.
Move over to the right shoulder.
Then your left shoulder.
Feel the weight of the world releasing from your shoulders,
Both shoulders.
Continue the journey downward through the body.
Bring your attention to your upper back.
Sense the space between your shoulder blades.
Allow a release of any accumulated tension.
Guide your awareness to the front side of the body,
To the chest.
Notice the chest rising and falling with each breath.
As your heart is gently dancing with the rhythm of your life,
Chest expanding and descending,
Shift your awareness to your right arm.
From the shoulder down slowly through the crook of the elbow,
Forearm into the palm of your hand and the fingertips.
Sense the flow of energy and relaxation.
Feel the whole arm releasing and letting go.
Shift to your left arm.
Notice any warmth moving through the left arm and relax the shoulder,
The elbow,
The forearm,
The left palm of the hand and all the fingertips.
Feel the whole left arm,
Warmth spreading through the left arm.
Move to the center of your chest,
Into your torso,
Embracing the sensation of a peaceful and settled center.
Feel deep peace in your center.
Notice the breath naturally coming and going,
Nurturing you.
Move a little further down to your hips,
Your right hip,
Left hip.
Feel the grounding support beneath you,
Connecting you to the earth's energy.
Move to your right thigh,
Left thigh.
Feel the muscles in both thighs releasing any tension,
Letting go with gravity.
Move to your right knee,
Your left knee.
Feel the knees releasing.
Move down to the right calf,
Left calf,
Right ankle,
Left ankle.
The whole right foot and all five toes.
The whole left foot and all five toes.
Feel both right and left leg at the same time.
Feel both of your legs.
Feeling energy flowing down both of your legs.
Feel any lingering tightness and release it.
Take a moment and feel the entire body,
The whole body,
The whole right side of your body,
The whole left side of your body.
Feel the whole body together,
A unified whole,
Fully present and at ease.
Embrace this journey of consciousness,
Appreciating the connection between your mind and body.
Shift your awareness to the rhythm of your breath,
The life force that sustains you.
Feel the natural ebb and flow of your breath.
Observe the gentle rise and fall of your chest and abdomen.
With each inhale and each exhale,
Let your breath be effortless like a soft breeze carrying away any remaining tension.
Notice the coolness of the air as you inhale,
Filling your lungs with revitalizing energy.
Feel the warmth as you exhale,
Releasing any stagnation or heaviness from within.
Each breath a gift,
A source of rejuvenation for your entire being.
Shift your attention to the rise and fall of your belly.
With each inhale,
Feel your belly expand.
With each exhale,
Feel it contract.
Breathe naturally without any force.
Allow the breath to be a gentle companion on this journey.
Continue to breathe and be present with the sensations that accompany each inhalation and exhalation.
Notice the subtle movements,
The play of air in your nostrils,
And the sensation of your chest expanding and contracting.
If your mind begins to wander,
Gently guide it back to the breath.
Imagine each breath carrying a sense of calm and clarity,
Filling every cell of your body.
Inhale deeply,
Filling your lungs to capacity,
And exhale fully,
Letting go of any stress you feel in your body.
Feel the rise and fall of your rim cage.
Feel the expansion and contraction in the sides of your body.
Each breath is a reminder that you are present,
Alive,
And connected to the universal flow of life.
Maintain your breath awareness and take a moment to appreciate the simplicity and beauty of the breath.
The breath is a constant,
Reliable anchor that brings you back to the present moment.
Continue to breathe,
Allowing the breath to be your sanctuary,
A refuge from the external world.
If the mind wanders,
Gently guide it back without any judgment or expectation.
Shift your awareness to your heart center.
Feel your body in a state of deep relaxation and bring your attention back to your Sankalpa,
Your intention that you set at the beginning of the practice.
Inhale deeply,
And as you exhale,
Visualize your Sankalpa as a radiant,
Glowing light within your heart center.
Imagine this light expanding with each breath,
Filling your entire being.
Let it illuminate every cell of your body,
Bringing a sense of alignment with your intention.
As the light expands,
Envision the light creating a protective aura around you,
Shielding you from any negativity.
Now visualize yourself in a setting that's serene.
Feel the softness of the grass beneath you.
Hear the rustle of the leaves around you.
Sense a gentle breeze carrying tranquility to every corner of your being.
Visualize yourself now by joyous moments.
Consider vibrant colors,
The laughter of loved ones,
A feeling of pure happiness radiating from your being.
Engage all your senses.
What do you see?
What do you hear?
What do you smell?
What do you feel?
Now listen.
Are there any sounds around you,
Birds singing,
Water flowing,
Or gentle music playing?
Embrace these sounds,
Allowing them to enhance the richness of your experience.
Take note of any sense in the air.
Is there the fragrance of flowers,
The freshness of the ocean,
The comforting scent of nature?
Inhale deeply and let these sense contribute to the realism of your visualization.
Look around you.
What do you see?
Perhaps a meadow,
A beach,
A serene forest.
Notice the colors,
The textures.
Embrace the beauty of this visual landscape.
Now consider the people around you.
Are there friends,
Family,
Guides supporting you in this visualization?
Feel their presence,
Acknowledging the love and positive energy they bring to your experience.
Allow the emotions associated with your Sankalpa to surface as you immerse yourself fully in this visualization.
Whether it's peace,
Joy,
Love,
Or any other intention,
Let the feelings wash over you.
This is your reality in this moment.
You have the power to manifest your intentions and bring them into your daily life.
Feel a deep sense of gratitude for this ability to visualize and create your own reality.
Take a few more moments to bask in this beauty of your visualization,
Appreciating the richness it adds to your practice.
Now repeat your Sankalpa three times to yourself.
I release all tension and my mind is calm and serene.
Remember,
This is your anchor and place of security.
Notice your breath as it flows in and out,
Naturally,
Not trying to change it.
Notice how your mind and body feel,
Keeping your intention close to your heart.
Take as much time as you need,
Slowly,
Slowly take your time.
There's no need to rush.
Moving from the inner world,
Feeling your body touching the earth.
Allow the depth of this practice to be sealed within your heart.
Know that as you go about your daily life,
You will always be able to come back to this anchor of peace within you.
You might begin to move your fingers and your toes,
Your ankles and wrists.
You might move your head a bit from side to side.
And when you're ready to move a bit further,
You could come into the fetal position on your right or your left side.
You could pause here for as long as you'd like,
A few more moments of reflection.
At this point,
You might crawl into your bed.
Or if you're transitioning into the rest of the day,
Give yourself some time to perhaps journal.
Thank you so much for practicing with me today.
I would love to hear from you in the comments below.
I wish you so much love and ease on your journey in life.
May you be happy.
May you be healthy.
May you live a life without suffering and may you be in peace.
Namaste.
