There are moments when life can feel like it has paused,
But not in a peaceful way.
More like something in you is trying to move forward.
But isn't quite sure how.
In those moments,
It's easy to assume something is wrong.
That you should already know what to do.
Or already be somewhere else.
But feeling stuck is often just a kind of in-between space.
It's not a failure.
It's not a blockage.
It's just a beautiful pause.
Bring your attention gently to your breath.
Of trying to change it.
Simply noticing it.
Inhaling slowly through the nose.
And exhaling from the mouth.
There's nothing you need to fix in this moment.
Nothing you need to solve right now.
Let your shoulders drop slightly.
Let your face soften.
You're not required to move forward in any way during this meditation.
You are allowed to simply be here in the now.
Deep breath in through the nose.
And exhale from the mouth.
Notice if there is any pressure inside of you to find clarity immediately.
To make a decision.
To know the next step.
And instead of pushing against that pressure,
Simply acknowledge it.
In a gentle way.
You can say,
Yes,
I do feel that.
And then simply return to the breath.
Deep inhale through the nose.
And exhale from the mouth.
You don't need to force any insight.
You don't need to manufacture direction.
Clarity often arrives quietly.
When things are no longer being pushed.
And again,
Taking a beautiful,
Mindful inhale through the nose,
Inflating the belly and then the lungs.
And exhale,
Releasing from the mouth.
Allowing that breath to create space and to create peace in the here and the now.
If thoughts arise about what you should be doing.
You can simply notice them.
And then let them pass.
No need to follow them.
No need to label them good or bad.
Simply returning to the breath.
Imagine for a moment that snuckness is not a wall,
But a space.
A space where things are not fully formed yet.
Or something new could eventually emerge.
But does not appear just yet.
Let that be okay.
You don't need to rush this space.
You can actually fully rest into it.
Deep inhale through the nose.
And exhale from the mouth.
You are not behind.
You are not blocked.
You are simply in a moment that hasn't clarified itself yet.
And that's okay.
Nothing needs to be forced open or forward.
All you need to do is breathe.
To honor this moment.
To honor the space in between chapters.
There is as much beauty in the in-betweens.
As there is in the action.
And one final mindful inhale through the nose.
And exhale from the mouth.
Namaste.
