So in this meditation is for clearing out anything that's not needed,
The energy you may have picked up and cutting cords with any energetic connections you may have.
Bringing you back to a place of calm,
Of stillness to help you get on for the rest of your day.
You can listen to this meditation as many times as you need to throughout the day.
You may find it useful to listen to after you've been to busy places,
Have spent time with people,
Working or perhaps before you go to bed.
But trust your intuition in terms of when you need it the most.
So you're just taking some time to get yourself into a comfortable posture and you can be sitting down or laying down for this meditation.
And I would like to invite you to just gently focus on your breathing and just start to notice whereabouts on your body.
You feel this breathing,
Sensation.
Parts of the body that are moving and parts of the body that are still with each breath.
And just start to scan through the body,
Starting from the top of the head.
And just notice any areas of tension,
Anything that you might be holding onto in the body as you just gently scan through and just notice anything that's there.
Scanning down all the way,
All the way to your feet.
And just not judging anything that's there but simply building your awareness.
And when you get to your feet,
Just noticing how grounded your feet are.
And you can just simply imagine roots coming out of your feet,
A bit like the roots of a tree going into the earth and grounding you here in this present moment.
Grinding you through the layers of the earth,
Deeper and deeper and deeper to the core of the earth as you just grind yourself in this earth energy.
And then just start to notice this earth energy and just start to pull this grounded energy up into your feet.
I'd like to invite you to imagine pulling it up through your whole body from your feet.
And as it goes,
Just clearing anything that's there,
Clearing any energy you may have picked up,
Clearing any tension that's being held in your body.
And to make this feeling stronger,
You can imagine it as a light or a colour or a feeling.
And just pulling that feeling up through your body,
Just moving it up your legs into your hips and pelvis area,
Up into your lower stomach,
Up into the higher area of your stomach and your ribs,
Up to your heart,
Giving your heart and your chest area a big boost of this grounded,
Clearing energy.
Just imagining anything clearing out that's not needed in there,
Anything you've picked up.
Just breathe this energy up into your neck and your shoulders,
Into your face,
Into your head and just breathe it out of the top of the head.
Just imagine this energy releasing right at the top of your head,
Just letting it go,
Just taking with it anything that's not needed and just becoming aware of how your body is feeling right now.
And just start to bring your awareness to any cords or attachments that you may have with others,
Any situations or relationships that might be just taking your energy.
Just bring the awareness to these cords and just see if you can notice any cords,
Any attachments anywhere in your body.
Just notice whereabouts it is that you feel these.
And then I would like you to imagine taking a pair of scissors and just cutting these cords,
Releasing the energy back to the person or the situation,
Just helping you to visualize and create this healthy boundary.
So just start to notice how you feel by letting this go and just become more aware of your body in this place.
And just turn your awareness to anything that's coming up for you right now,
Anything that hasn't released,
Any tension that's still in your body.
If there's anything there,
Just notice it with kindfulness and just start to think about what kindful action step you might need to take.
What is it that you need to be kind to yourself right now?
And then just bringing the awareness back to the weight of your body,
Wiggling your fingers and toes and bringing yourself more fully back into the room,
Back into this present moment cleared and ready to get on with the rest of your day.
