I Am A Tree Meditation/Visualization

Transcript

I am a strong tree.

I am wise.

I'm confident.

I'm stable.

I close my eyes and move with awareness into my solid,

Vast trunk.

I breathe deeply in and out of my reliable walls.

And as I do,

I remember.

I remember who I am.

Each ring so beautiful,

So complete,

So purposeful.

I feel the summation of every journey,

Every lesson,

Every joy rise,

Like an orchestra that plays the most meaningful piece.

All of my journeys melded together in one magnificent crescendo of pure understanding,

Knowing.

And I bask in my glory.

I am so thankful.

I am powerful.

I sink down to my base.

I feel my feet buried in the soft,

Cool earth.

I descend deeper into my impressive roots.

They stretch out in every direction like a kingdom,

So captivating,

So masterful.

I smell the dank,

Rich earth and it fuels me.

I move intuitively around every bend and I float down every hallway.

In this moment,

I feel peace.

I sway in brilliant abundance.

I feel so connected,

So balanced.

I am divine.

I am alerted to movement in my branches.

I whisk up to discover a pleasant breeze moving effortlessly through me.

My leaves flutter gleefully in a perfectly choreographed dance.

I move to and fro,

Surrendering to the magical gift of motion.

I breathe deeply in and cherish every bit of the crisp,

Fresh air.

And I sigh as it settles into every eager cell of my body,

Filling it with newness and grace.

And then,

Out of nowhere,

A bird lands on my highest tip.

It sits majestically and peaceful as it gazes across the land.

I stand straight and tall and I smile.

I'm so honored to be chosen.

How lucky am I?

I am happy to be alive.
