Settle into your space now,
Getting comfortable,
Closing down your eyes.
Now,
Bring your attention to your breathing without trying to change it in any way.
Notice your breathing.
Let it be just as it is.
Let each breath take its own shape.
Enjoy the movement of each breath.
Breathe naturally.
Your only task is to watch your breathing.
Be aware of yourself breathing in,
Breathing out.
Just be with your breath.
If your thoughts wander,
Kindly bring your attention back to your body breathing.
Notice how good it feels to have air moving into your lungs,
And how relaxing it is to let it out.
Let your body breathe in its own way,
At its own pace.
Breathe in,
And enjoy the sensation of your body receiving fresh oxygen.
If your mind jumps around,
Just notice and bring yourself back to your breath.
The more deeply you go into the stillness,
Feel your mind settle down.
Let go,
And sink down past the surface.
Quietly slip into the gap between thoughts.
Let this be a time of gentle resting within,
Riding the wave of each breath.
Now,
Let's close our practice,
Gently bringing your awareness back to the space around your body.
Start to deepen your breath,
Gently wiggle your toes and fingers,
Opening your eyes on your next breath.
