Welcome to this guided meditation from the Frequency of Love series for restful sleep.
Find a comfortable position,
Lie down and gently close your eyes.
Let's begin.
Start by bringing your attention to your breath.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Hold for a moment and exhale gently through your mouth.
Repeat this pattern a few times.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Hold for a moment and exhale gently through your mouth.
Feel the air entering and leaving,
Allowing each breath to relax your body.
Breathing in deeply through the nose,
Holding for a moment and exhaling gently through your mouth.
Now direct your focus to your feet.
Feel a wave of relaxation developing each toe,
Each muscle.
Allow tension to dissolve.
Move the soothing sensation up through your legs,
Reaching your knees,
Thighs and hips.
Feel the weight of your body being absorbed by the surface beneath you.
As you continue to relax,
Notice any thoughts that come to mind and without judgment,
Simply observe them and let them pass like clouds in the sky.
This is your time to calm the mind and gently release the worries of the day.
Now imagine a calm night.
Visualize a bright moon in the sky,
Gently illuminating the surroundings.
Feel the serenity of this night.
The stars come out one by one and each moonbeam carries a sense of peace and calm.
In your mind's eye,
Hear the sound of birds and a beautiful,
Peaceful forest glade.
See the sunlight streaming through the leaves and the branches of the trees.
Picture butterflies flying perfectly gently all around you.
You are perfectly at peace.
You are perfectly still.
The sounds and the smell of the forest calms you.
The gentle birdsong in the distance,
A peaceful lullaby.
Return to your breath.
Inhale deeply,
Filling your lungs,
Pausing just for a moment and exhaling slowly.
Feel each breath taking away any lingering tension.
Your body is becoming lighter,
More tranquil.
You almost feel your body lifting off the soft mossy floor of the forest as you drift into a timeless and perfect restful state.
Before drifting off into a deep,
Satisfying sleep,
Take a moment to reflect on things that you are grateful for.
It could be something small or something significant.
Feel the gratitude filling your heart.
Feel yourself lifting,
Floating.
Now allow yourself to sink gently,
Gently down into a restorative sleep.
Feel surrounded by absolute peace and calm.
Remember,
This is your time to rest.
Good night,
Sweet dreams.
