Welcome,

Young explorers,

To our around-the-world adventure.

Let's find a cosy spot to sit or lie down,

And we can begin by taking a few deep breaths together.

Let's breathe in deeply through our noses,

Filling up our lungs with air,

And then breathing out slowly through your mouth.

Shall we try that again?

Let's inhale deeply through our nose,

Filling up your lungs,

And then exhaling slowly back out through your mouth.

Feel your body relaxing with every breath.

Breathing in,

And breathing out.

Now imagine yourself standing in front of a magical globe,

Ready to embark on an exciting journey all around the world.

If you like,

You can picture the globe spinning slowly,

And with each rotation,

It stops at a different place.

Where will it take us first?

Our first stop is the bustling streets of New York City,

USA.

Picture yourself surrounded by skyscrapers and yellow taxis,

With the sound of honking horns filling the air.

Let's take a little moment to breathe in the energy of the city,

And feel the excitement of our adventures ahead.

Next,

Our globe spins again,

And we find ourselves in the serene countryside of Japan.

The cherry blossom trees in full bloom,

And the pink soft petals falling,

Falling down onto the green,

Green grass.

And if you look down,

You can see a beautiful,

Peaceful pond,

With beautiful golden koi fish swimming around,

And around.

Take a deep breath,

And soak in the tranquility of this beautiful place.

So peaceful.

Now let's spin our globe,

And we travel to the savannas of Africa,

Where majestic elephants roam freely,

And lions bask in the sun.

Picture yourself on a safari adventure,

Surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

You're standing in tall,

Golden grass,

And the horizon stretches out before you.

Take a moment to breathe in the fresh air,

And feel really connected to nature.

As our journey continues,

We find ourselves in the colourful markets of India.

Picture vibrant saris,

Lots and lots of beautiful colours,

And fragrant spices filling up the air.

Take a deep breath,

And let the exotic scents and smells transport you to this magical and beautiful place.

Breathing in,

Next our globe spins again,

And we land on the snowy slopes of the Swiss Alps.

Beautiful snow-covered mountains soar into the blue sky.

Picture yourself skiing down the mountainside,

With the crisp air tingling your cheeks.

Take a moment to breathe in the cool,

Refreshing air,

And feel the exhilaration of adventure.

Can you picture how far the mountains go off into the distance in front of you?

Now,

Let's spin the globe,

And we journey on to the sunny beaches of Australia,

Where turquoise waves crash against the shore,

And kangaroos hop along the sand.

Picture yourself lounging on the beach,

Feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin.

Take a deep breath,

And let the relaxed atmosphere wash over you.

Breathing in,

And breathing out.

As our adventure comes to an end,

Take a moment to reflect on the incredible places we've visited,

And all the experiences we've shared.

Let's notice any feelings in your body,

And any thoughts or emotions that have arisen for you.

And let's remember that you can return to this beautiful place,

This beautiful,

Peaceful place,

Anytime you need a moment of calm and relaxation.

And when you're ready,

Slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and toes,

Bringing awareness and feeling back right through your body.

Open your eyes and take one last deep breath before returning to your day,

Feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
