Hello,

Unique learners.

This is Yvette from White Way and in this meditation we will work on our life's purpose by establishing a morning routine which includes a breathing exercise and exercises focused on visualization to experience gratitude and intention seeking.

You can use this meditation to start the day focused,

Energized,

Creative,

Centered and connected to your ultimate outcomes.

Your morning routine has a lasting impact on the rest of your day.

It establishes a foundation of gratitude for everything that's guided us to this moment and the opportunity to start fresh.

And gratitude,

Yep,

The exact morning ritual that every single guru brags about.

And they aren't joking,

It works.

Gratitude has very little to do with your productivity levels,

But it immensely helps in getting that dose of positivity in the morning,

Which helps in setting the pace of the rest of the day.

And it's a simple visualization meditation at its core.

So please find a chair in a relatively quiet area,

Sit up,

Spine straight,

But whatever you do sit comfortably.

Place both feet on the floor,

Shift your shoulders back,

Chest up and hold your neck and head tall.

And you can close your eyes if you want to.

We are going to do two pranayama breathing exercises,

And if you have any medical condition,

Such as asthma,

COPD or any other lung or heart concern,

You might want to sit this one out and take slow deep breaths.

So place your left hand on your left knee,

Lift your right hand up towards your nose,

Exhale completely,

And then use your right thumb to close your right nostril.

Inhale through your left nostril for 4 seconds.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And then close the left nostril with your fingers.

Open the right nostril and exhale through this side for five.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Inhale through the right nostril for 4 seconds.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Then close this nostril and open the left nostril and exhale for 5 seconds through the left side.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Again inhale through your left nostril.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Close it and open the right nostril and exhale.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Now inhale through the right.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Close this nostril and open your left and exhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Now focus on your body.

How does it feel?

And now it's time to think of three beautiful moments in our life we could feel grateful for.

Feel like you are there.

Take one beautiful moment at a time.

Are there people smiling at you?

Are you in nature or are you in holiday?

It can be when you were much younger or it was just happening maybe a week ago.

Relive this moment and feel the beauty of it.

Feel the joy,

The gratitude.

Think of another moment,

Number two you could be grateful for.

What were you doing?

How did you feel?

What did you smell?

And now gratitude moment number three.

Think about it,

Feel it.

It feels energizing right?

Is there a smile on your face?

Just take it and feel so grateful.

Give yourself the gift of gratitude.

Just enjoy and know your inner smile.

Now for the next exercise.

Imagine that when you're breathing in you are taking in a purple light through the top of your head coming out of the universe through the crown of your head and as it comes and goes to your brain,

To your face,

To your neck,

Shoulders,

Breathe it in.

Let it flow and let it flow down to your chest,

Your arms,

Your legs,

Your feet.

Now breathe out again this purple light and leash it back to the universe moving it.

Then again and it makes you lighter,

Stronger.

Strengthening the best parts of your life,

Of your character,

Of your body,

Your courage,

Your love,

Your passion.

Feel the light going down from your head all the way to your feet and up again.

Let it flow through your body and breathe it out through the universe again and now send this loving light to your friends,

Your family.

All across the street,

People somewhere on the planet who can use it right now and smile at them.

Expand the love and they all deserve a little bit of strength,

Love and courage.

And we will now do another exercise which is intention setting.

And these are new year's resolutions because you are gonna see and celebrate the victory and it will happen when you live it and think of something you wish to accomplish today.

See it happening.

Is it giving you that smile?

What magical moment can happen today?

Do you feel excited at the joy in you?

Give thanks.

Thank the universe that this is happening today.

Now think of another intention you wish to see happen.

This can be a longer term intention that you will work towards to.

See it happening.

Feel the love,

Feel the accomplishment and feel grateful that it happened.

Celebrate it with gratitude and joy feeling.

And give thanks for this other intention that you will reach.

Now place your hands on your heart,

Breathe in through the nose and breathe out through the mouth.

And can you think of a moment in your life you are really proud,

Proud of yourself?

Did you mean something to someone then?

How did it feel?

Great moments you've already put in your heart today and you awakened in your heart.

They are already there.

Rise up stretching slowly and breathe out and start to feel the energy,

The energy you build up to all these experiences of joy,

Grateful,

Intentions,

These beautiful moments and lay it in your heart.

Namaste.

I loved this. All the pieces worked well together. It's been a while since I've done alternate nostril breathing...that was a good way to wake up the body. I loved the gratitude piece. They way it was done here made me really feel it. I do wish it was just a little longer. 30 seconds to a minute more in each section would have been fantastic. I didn't want it to end.
