Today's Considerations are short observations about who God is and who we are in God. These observations are meant to weaken, hopefully, our conscious (and unconscious) habits that separate us from God and bring to awareness the characteristics that keep us in alignment with God.

Today's consideration.

Our downfall comes in our laziness,

Which is a form of disobedience.

In our laziness,

We drop out of God's flow.

It's not taken away from us,

We fall away from it.

What can make us lazy is getting to a place of comfort and choosing to sit down.

What is not realized is that the laziness,

The lounging in our comfortable places,

Pulls us out of that comfortable place.

What keeps us in our blessing is continuously working.

Taking every opportunity to build towards our purpose,

Sowing our seeds,

Our gifts,

Beside the waters and plowing all the fields.

We do that by investing time in devotion,

Investing time in study,

Investing time in extending our divine light to others.

Remember God wants a cheerful giver,

So give authentically and always.

In order to sow a seed,

The ground must be prepared.

The hard parts are broken up to reveal the fertile ground underneath.

The hardest part is breaking up the hard parts,

Like your hard head,

Your hard heart,

And even your hard of hearing.

Because the seed itself needs just a little soil to take root and grow,

But once the seed has its resource,

Once it has its water,

It will grow exceedingly and abundantly.

When we are in God's flow,

We will have peace,

Stability,

Protection,

And quiet.

When we let righteousness prevail,

Our abundance will be so much that our driest desert experience will look like a fruitful field,

And our fruitful time will resemble a forest.

Thank you.
