Hello and welcome to How to manage stress well – Blood type A.

Dr.

Deremo has been working to research on the topic of blood type specific lifestyle over 30 years.

In his books,

He describes the optimal lifestyle for each blood type.

This includes nutrition,

Exercise recommendations and the optimal stress management.

According to Dr.

Deremo,

The stress reactions vary depending on the genetic predetermination – the blood type.

At the same time,

According to Dr.

Deremo,

People of the same blood type react in a similar way to stress.

Regardless of any blood type,

The nervous system always strives for balance.

If this cannot be achieved over a long period of time,

The body is noticeably unbalanced.

When the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline are released over a long period of time,

They can actually manifest a disease.

This is varying from blood type to blood type according to Dr.

Deremo.

Organically,

People with blood type A tend to overreact to stress.

This is measurable,

Taking a look at the cortisol level.

People with blood type A naturally have a higher blood cortisol level than other blood types.

In addition,

They will release more adrenaline in stressful situations than other blood types.

So organically,

Blood type A has the highest level of stress compared to other blood types and is the blood type who needs longest to reduce its personal stress.

The high cortisol loads are a co-cause for statistically increased cancer and heart disease rates in blood type A according to Deremo.

So according to the author,

It is important that people with blood type A take care of their predetermination in their everyday life.

So what are the practical recommendations for stress reduction for blood type A?

Plan several meals a day,

6 instead of just 3.

I always eat enough and do not skip meals.

Eat more protein at breakfast and less protein at dinner.

If you are hungry in between,

Take a snack that fits to your blood type A.

According to Deremo,

The cortisol levels increase due to food deprivation in blood type A.

Limit the intake of coffee,

Caffeine and alcohol.

These lead to immediate stress in your system.

As a general tendency,

A coffee a day is most likely well tolerated,

But higher caffeine levels from different sources increase the cortisol levels.

Go hiking in nature and enjoy the fresh air outside.

Hiking is the perfect strategy for balance for blood type A.

With this moderate exercise,

The perceived stress in this blood type drops very well.

Meditate Deremo recommends to meditate regularly for this blood type.

Although all blood types profit from meditation,

This can be a good strategy for blood type A people to calm down more easily.

If you are doing weight training or endurance sports like long distance running,

Watch out for warning signs,

Such as cold hands or extreme tiredness that still occurs 2 hours after training.

Do Hatha Yoga.

This form of yoga is perfect for relieving stress based on Deremo's experience of hundreds of clients as he explains in his books.

Also Tai Chi or Qi Gong are perfect stress reduction strategies for blood type A.

Tai Chi has been shown to decrease blood cortisol levels,

Lower blood pressure and improve the mood.

He describes it as effective as a 1 hour walk over several kilometers in terms of stress reduction.

Create a daily plan on which you orient towards and structure your day that contributes to the reduction of stress.

Go to bed at regular times,

Preferably before 11 pm.

Sleep for at least 8 hours.

Get up immediately when you wake up.

Do not lay down in your bed for long.

Maintain creativity and expression in your life.

Also a good coping mechanism for stress reduction in blood type A.

These were some tips for managing stress well with blood type A.

In the books of Dr.

Daramo,

You will find in-depth information and more detailed explanations of the lifestyle along the individual blood types.

If you are interested in the subject,

You can find an online course on Udemy on the blood type diet that I created.

I'll be glad to see you there again.
