In the next lecture, I will focus on that border but, for this lecture I wish to focus on how to stay healthy and survive as much as we can. The first principle of life is movement. We need to move to stay alive. Our physique is made to be active. Activity demands energy. Energy comes from our food. This implies that we are what we eat.

Welcome to my podcast.

I want to try to give you some insight information in how to stay healthy during this not so easy COVID-19 time.

Our health is the only valuable we have and to survive we should pay a lot of attention to it.

Being a serious asthmatic myself it did bring me often on the border of life and death.

I have been in hospital so many times that I even did lost count and my life was already on the edge so many times that even my parents lost count.

In this lecture I focus on the really issues of now,

The current time.

In another lecture I will go over the border between life and death and I wish to focus on how to stay healthy and survive as much as we can.

The first principle of life is movement.

We need to move to stay alive.

Our physic is made to be active.

Activity demands energy.

Energy comes from our food.

This implies that we are what we eat.

We should be careful what we eat as food is also a medicine.

Food can boost but also destroy our health.

This is what we need to consider.

Movement and food both influence our mood,

Our psychological balance.

A lack of movement or wrong food creates a negative balance and often a bad mood.

Your psychological situation is very important in time of stress,

Containment and isolation.

All former elements are influenced and empowered by our breathing.

Every moment needs the right breathing methods which again influence our digestion and psychological balance.

This is where fitness and martial arts separate their ways.

In martial arts we use the right breathing as an important factor of the right performance.

Fitness uses breathing only for the element of power but does not have a psychological tool for the performance.

This is why I teach top athletes to focus on breathing while performing.

Focus on breathing while performing enhances the mind to another level of concentration and improves the performance.

Weight as a resistance is important to improve muscle power but we should use it only a part of the year and not all the time.

Muscles can be boosted for a period and after that we focus on a better performance or technical or what we want to reach.

Only in pure bodybuilding we focus on having muscle mass,

The right tension and enlargement.

Most of us are at home and do not have the same space as in the gym but we want to reach a better health with improving our skills such as flexibility,

Power,

Endurance and agility.

The best time for exercise depends on your everyday routine.

Every individual has a different bio clock.

This bio clock has a personal rhythm and masters our life cycle.

During this cycle there are many times we feel super and there are even as many times we don't feel good at all.

These bio clocks also have a direct responsibility for our immune system.

In a down time of our bio cycle we are vulnerable and it is possible to get sick easily.

It is not possible to influence the cycle of our life itself but we are surely able to enhance the level.

We are able to lift the level of the bio cycle by living healthier and more conscious.

By lifting the level we also improve our overall immunity and makes us stronger against negative influences.

A person with a good physical condition has a better mood and more active lifestyle and less differences between up and down moods.

People who exercise in the morning after wake up are generally happier than people who wake up late and do no exercise.

The morning exercise routines stimulate body and mind,

Prepares the body for the day to come and stimulates all chemical processes for that day.

In the morning the air is often of a better quality and breathing is more healthy.

Exercising at another time of the day is possible and advised as long as you enjoy it.

There we come to another important issue.

Most people exercise because it was said that they should do so but they do not enjoy it.

Physical activity always works better when you like what you do.

Not every person likes what they do such as jogging but they do it because somebody told them to do it.

Let me give you a little personal insight.

Due to a foot injury I am no longer able to go for jogging.

Well I used to do that every day in the past.

So pleasure to do an activity is most important for future improvement and increase.

So my first goal was to seek pleasure in another activity because without pleasure I am not able to do it.

I am just human.

So do what you like and you receive more energy of it.

Some people prefer yoga like exercises while others get off in nature with an animal or a bike.

Every person has individual wishes.

There is no right or wrong but there is a continuity and endurance of what you do.

Do what you like as often as possible improves the time and intensity you do it and keep always liking it.

Some people even love what they do.

All you like or love to do feels as no effort.

You are able to get better and better in whatever you do if you really like it.

Is there any specific activity that is better than others?

No there is not.

Activity is always good.

Intensity is important but different for every person.

Keep in mind that people only get real old when having a medium level of energy use all their life.

Most people of 100 plus have not had a high intensity energetic life.

They did live a life of immune improvement.

Often without knowing it.

Top sport people do live a life on the top of their energy for a period of time in their life and some get really old.

First of all we have to realize that not everybody is able to be a top sport and these people have a different genetic than the common people.

That is why they become top sporters.

So don't compare yourself.

Getting old depends mainly on having a high immunity having a strong defense system.

For my studies I learned that the real old are strong in mind and body.

Most did not suffer from illness a lot in their life.

Their life is based on routines and activity.

Also social engagement.

Being active alone is possible but to join others or invite them to join you make your life even better.

What you do together gives all people more energy.

In a group we share the energy and give a part of our self to the others.

Let's get it back how we can improve our life,

Our immunity and our mood.

We should stay active as much as we can.

Select the right food that suits us as a person and our genetics.

Take good care of how we breathe and hence the level of our bio-clog.

Share our energy with others and be social.

Socialize in a real nice way.

These factors are a great step to improve your health and your complete system.

How can you create your own way to do this better and improve your health and immune situation?

The first step is to contact people who are on the same wavelength as you are.

Ask them to connect with you.

For instance with a Skype,

WeChat,

WhatsApp or any other social media program with a video link.

And why a video link?

Because then you interact much better with each other than just a voice only.

Appoint one person of that group to be the breathing leader and use a tool to set the breathe speed for all members of the group.

You can use a metronome or a drum sound.

If you use a drum sound record a session of 15 minutes with one of the same sound of the drum every few seconds.

So record it and play it while you have that gathering.

You all try to synchronize the breathing in and out to this sound.

When you hear the sound you all breathe in and out.

You can make different sessions where you use one tone for breathing in and another tone for breathing out.

But beware of the speed.

Keep a good speed as you are planning to do some exercises or so.

And the breathing must be in line with the exercises.

When the breathing level is all the same with all the participants the leader starts with the first moves.

These moves can be yoga or martial arts or just aerobics.

It doesn't matter what.

Remember to keep the breathing and moving combined while performing.

Both do influence each other and when doing it the right way you feel the positive feedback.

Try to make the movements fluently while continue your breathing and keep listening to the beat of the drum or metronome.

Stay in the right rhythm and look at each other.

Look how others move in the same way.

When the movements continue and the breathing is moving focus on the muscle tension and improve the tension of each muscle during the movement.

Arise the tension as high as possible and while keep a very good breathing and let the movements go on.

When you do this in a little group while using the app it becomes inspirational and you find something interesting.

You will find out that you start to synchronize and synchronizing the breathing and movement while in different places it is very likely you get a spiritual connection that has no time and no space limitation.

The feeling of here and now may even disappear.

Another important implementation for your social connection can be the same time and food principle.

You all agree to eat the same food at the same time of the day when you are linked with your social apps.

Even when you live in another part of the world this can be a really enlightening experience.

Start with a simple fruit or other one piece easy to get food and eat it slowly and consciously while thinking of the other people who are doing the same at the same moment.

For this you can do online and you can do it offline.

I prefer online because then the connection is stronger.

So later on it will become good to cook meals together.

First through the use of the United App experience and later on you just do it by use of time and mind focus.

It is an interesting game and it is a challenge for you.

All these concentration exercises have the same meaning as a concentration training but due to the social aspects it will enhance your psyche and it will even be stronger because what you do together will be massively more strong.

It is the unity of the mental powers on the same moment that will enhance all of you.

These experiences become even better when you deal with complete strangers around the world.

Sharing these precious moments together bring a spiritual connection and also gives you the strength and power to find a healthy living and moving.

Start in your direct environment to build the knowledge and experience of this timeless and powerful way to enhance your healthy living and immune system before you move around earth and connect with strangers.

Explore your closed world before you go in global.

How to have good movements at home?

What kind of exercises do you recommend?

Answer one.

The first thing is to keep your cardiovascular system running well.

Your heart and brain are under stress and by exercising you get some form of control.

Try walking the stairs,

Doing some Arabic dances or get into yoga.

If you follow my movies on home fitness you will be enlightened with the amount of things that you can do with very little products.

I design fitness products and teach you how to make them with all recycled materials.

It's very easy.

Everybody can do it.

It's nice.

It's fun and it gives you creative ideas.

So even whatever you do in your exercising,

In your making of equipment,

Try to use creativity to fill in and then you will enhance your power of living and mode,

Especially your mode.

Question two.

I live alone.

Quarantine makes me more isolated.

How to find the same wavelength friend to build my own way for a healthier life from home?

Yeah,

This is a difficult question that seems to be really not easy to answer.

Many websites pretend to offer a community but I find out that it is much harder because they pretend to have a lot of members and in fact they don't.

So they charge you money for nothing.

So be careful paying for community exercise sites as they have been set up lately and hardly has any members.

So really look at the commands before entering any of those sites and check,

Check,

Check before you pay any money out.

And maybe it's better try to find the community sites through the government or municipality and ask them what they recommend.

Because even in time of distress,

You should be aware of your personal safety.

Some gyms also offer online training programs but they hardly ever link members with each other.

So it's not a very social way.

You can try Facebook or other social websites to find friends and ask them to join on WhatsApp or through another social chat community.

Remember what I told you about the video linking possibility.

So always keep that in mind.

Question three.

I couldn't get every kind of food I need during the quarantine period.

Do I need to have vitamins to enhance my immunity?

What kind of nutrition supplements are the most important at this moment?

Answer three.

That can be a problem and often also a seasonal problem.

You may need additional supplements of multivitamins or minerals or some extra proteins.

But currently there are many different ones in the market.

Be careful.

Choose the right products.

Ask assistance of specialists like me if you have any questions on this topic.

Currently there is no cure medicine nor a vaccine for COVID-19.

Human being is very vulnerable at the moment.

That makes me very frightened.

What can I do to ease my anxiety?

Answer four.

Anxiety is a very logical problem when you are confronted with unseen enemies.

The only thing I can advise is to follow the official guidelines and obey the rules and regulations.

There are plenty of experts working on the case worldwide and I do not give advice on this topic simply because it will confuse you when my suggestion are not confirmed your local advice.

Please follow the local information and follow that.

About anxiety it is important to learn to accept faith and facts.

This is how it is at the moment and the whole world is living with the same problem.

Realize this is the first time in history we all know what's going on and even able to know what is happening in other parts of the world.

This should make you interesting but not fearing.

That is inevitable for all of us and when your time comes just accept it,

It comes.

But when you accept and obey it all will be much easier for you to live through it all.

One piece of advice.

Do not follow all the news.

Be selective and only have specific moments of the day to listen and never more than a total of one hour a day.

Just more will be very confusing and will raise your level of anxiety.
