Expect the expectation.
In former podcasts I explained that we should not have expectations as they often lead to disasters.
And to have expectation often goes against the mental development of the spiritual soul.

But what if we expect to have expectation and expect things from others?
Is it against the spiritual development?
Are you confused already?
Let me make life simple here.
Expectation help children to grow.
To have expectations to crawl,
Stand and finally walk.
They need these programmed expectations to move on with their life.
If they did not have any expectation built in by nature they would just lay down and never took any initiative.
To take any initiative in life we need an expectation to realize it.
Our expectations come for the initiative.
In other words expectations are needed in life to reach any goal even the spiritual goals.
But why is there a common expectation that we should not expect things in our life?
The main reason is that people usually have an over expectation which will bring them in an overdrive and that always leads to disappointment.
But there is more.
With our expectations we let things happen.
We create something and even more important we stimulate others to progress and improvement.
As humans we are connected in soul and spirit and we show by body language,
Words and behavior that we expect things of others and what we expect of them.
These expectations can become the guide in relationships and lead to a positive outcome.
For instance we meet a nice person and we expect to start a relationship.
This expectation is expressed in any possible way and if it is well received it will be answered with the same expectations.
At the moment the expectation is accepted the other person will start to mirror our behavior,
Body language and sometimes even our words.
From this event we can deduct that expectations can be contagious and contaminate others what we are in contact with.
This infectious effect of expectations is what worries the spiritual leaders as it has proven to go in more and more than one just direction.
Expectations can become a group infection and when every person carries the same thought this may affect harmony and peace.
Let me explain this more clear.
Every expectation seeks people who are like-minded in thinking.
When you expect a party you do not visit a funeral.
If you want a party you seek places and people who are like-minded and who wants the same.
This also accounts for bad thoughts like discrimination,
Crime or addiction.
Expecting people seek others with the same expectations and try to form a group like-minded people with the same goals.
This is exactly the point that spiritual leaders are worried about.
They worry that you will end up with the wrong people because of your expectations.
But expectations can be also having a very positive effect.
Imagine you want to meet friends and you wish for long-term friendship and you close relations.
These expectations make you seek company,
Love and connections.
In our world we do so often and then we can get disappointed.
This disappointment can make you feel bad and you start doubting about your own capacities.
This is a positive expectation turns bad.
But on the other hand also can consider it as a lesson and understand that the place is not the right place to think for you.
You can move to other websites or search for alternatives.
Fact is that you should meet a hundred people before selecting one which has the vibrations that you are looking for.
When you look at it from a relative perspective and start reviewing more or less realistic numbers you can have the expectation bordered by the reality and color your vision before you start exploring.
Expectations are relative and not absolute.
Each expectation is a seed from your thoughts,
Your mind,
Your limitations,
Your possibilities.
When you plant seeds in real life you discover that some will grow and others never show up a plant.
Expectations are like seeds.
You plant them in the right soil under the good conditions and feed the right food they grow.
If you careful at the expectations it only can work under the right circumstances and these circumstances may not be around you when you need them.
This explains why most of your expectations may fail and only some will come out.
You must work on the other factors first before your expectations can become true.
Now you understand the relativity of your expectations we can work on solving this issue for the future.
Let me investigate the way how expectations should work to become realistic goals with good results.
First thing you always have to do is border an expectation and make it a clear statement.
So I go out for walking.
I will go for running.
And not say maybe I can go for walking or I should go out for running.
No,
No,
No.
You say a time,
A date,
A name and then you go.
Number two look at the circumstances under which you must work to realize it.
So the next questions are very important to ask yourself.
Are you with the right people?
Do you live and work in the right environment?
Are you using the right instruments to reach the goal?
Let me explain that more.
I want to go for running and I only have hiking shoes.
So what do you think?
You will run a good way or will have a lot of pain in your feet.
And my condition is not so very good.
Imagine that.
And then should I run uphill or downhill or should I choose for a flat surface?
So all these questions make you realize,
Am I in the right environment?
And for instance,
As a training mate,
Would you choose a world champion runner when you are a beginner?
No,
You will not because you know that will frustrate you and you will not feel well.
So choose another beginner and your expectations of the right people will come through.
So number three,
Are you sure you want to reach the result of your expectation as you should really question yourself with it?
Let me make it simple.
If you want to run a marathon,
You should train and you know that.
So finally you think,
I'm going to run,
But I can run now five kilometers and I can run that marathon.
And you know,
That is not the right expectation because you know,
You never train properly for it.
Again,
Think about it carefully.
Is it the right expectation or is it foolish to do so?
You may ask yourself also,
Is my expectation my expectation or is it from the group around me who expect me to expect?
Do you get my point?
For instance,
If you go to church,
People expect you to be a believer,
But if you just go there for liking music because you like the atmosphere,
You love the singing and you don't care much for the words.
Then you are in a group of people who expect you to believe,
But you're not believing in reality.
The next,
Do you really want to make it come true?
Is it your desire,
My desire?
And is it high enough?
Is the flame strong enough?
Or you look back into the past and you say,
Maybe it will die soon enough again because I expect it to die.
So you have two expectations at the same time.
You expect to reach a goal and you expect not to reach it.
So who will win your fight?
And then the last part.
Are you prepared for failure and how much will affect a failure on your mental and physical state?
Can I accept failure?
Because keep in mind,
Any businessman who opens a business 10 times,
9 times will fail.
One time it will be successful.
And what do you think that it will do in real life?
In real life,
It's the same.
Ten people you meet and one people will be connected.
So you have to search for that single one people.
And if you don't like to pass on with 10 before you reach that one,
Then you have a problem.
The question is,
Can you make it not a problem,
But a good point for you to understand.
And then the last question,
It could be the most important of all.
When you expect something,
If you can have the state of mind to accept the fact that your expectation can end and maybe become a failure,
You should go ahead and expect whatever is possible for a better world around you.
So finally we can conclude that we need expectations,
That our life is based upon them.
And you have to learn the difference between good,
Positive and bad,
Negative,
And they are in balance.
So don't expect a life without disappointments,
Without failure,
Because then you will really fail.
There is no one in this world who has no failures and no broken heart,
No disappointments.
We all have,
We all pass them,
Some smaller,
Some bigger.
But the size of disappointment and failure is only in your head.
Yes,
I know,
If you buy a house of a million and then you fail to pay the mortgage,
It is a very clear number.
It is artificial number because it's just the money.
It's not your life.
It is not something really,
Really important.
Even when you consider any material thing important.
Always keep in mind that what you have,
Can you carry it into the next life.
After you die,
Is it possible to carry it with you?
As long as that is not possible,
Why should you worry?
Because you live a life and you live it now.
You live it right,
As good as you can,
And you do your best.
So the only expectation,
What you can have,
Is to live a life as good as you are able to.
That is what you should expect.
And that is what all the spirituality is about.
Select the possible and imagine the impossible.
