Good evening,

I'm your host Filippa,

Thanks for joining me.

Let's begin preparing for a tranquil night of sleep by taking a moment to settle in and get comfy.

Let's start by taking a nice stretch with a big yawn.

Let all that tension just leave the body without any resistance.

When you're ready,

Through your nose,

Inhale quickly as much air as you can.

And on your exhale,

Consciously let go of all the tension in the body.

Now take these next seconds to adjust your body and try to find a comfortable position where you are lying down on your back.

Once you've settled,

Let's take a deep breath in through the nose.

On your exhale,

Let the weight of the tensions being released from the body.

And let your body naturally sink further down,

Feeling comfortably heavy as what was weighing you down has been expelled.

Place one hand on your belly and the other on your chest.

Gently close your eyes.

Inhale slowly and deeply through the nose,

Feeling both hands rise together.

Exhale gently,

Feeling the hands falling down together.

Let's continue with slow deep nose inhalations and nice smooth exhalations on your own rhythm and time.

Let the natural rhythm of your hands rising and falling in synchronicity with your breathing soothe you and relax you even more.

Allow yourself to go deeper with this relaxation with each breathing.

Let's begin our meditative journey for tonight.

You feel a comforting breeze flowing along your body and your cheeks.

It is coming from a beautiful portal that has opened right in front of you.

All you can see are rays of emerald green and purple light coming through the portal.

They offer a calm sensation that ripples through your body and you feel your body comfortably sinking down even more,

Feeling peacefully snuggly.

You take a nice breath in and gently step into the portal.

You find yourself at the edge of a dense,

Very ancient,

Mystical forest at twilight.

The canopy overhead is a tapestry of deep emerald and muted violet where the last golden rays of sunset filter through,

Painting the leaves with a soft honey-colored glow.

The ground beneath your feet is a plush carpet of moss.

It feels cool and slightly damp,

Yet it nicely envelops your feet,

Offering a warm feeling of belonging and safety.

The safety of the body being supported by the earth and of you being nourished by mother nature.

As this feeling of nourishment calmly grows within you,

You begin to walk on the carpet of soft moss,

Each step muffled as if you're walking on a shaggy,

Comfortable rug.

As you are walking,

You observe tiny,

Bright,

Luminescent dots in the moss.

And upon closer inspection,

You find that these dots are bioluminescent fungi.

They form beautiful colonies along your path,

With many different shapes and sizes,

Which you pleasantly appreciate as they light your path through the forest that is now more lighted by the moon than the shy rays of the setting sun.

Suddenly,

To your right,

You find the soft,

Narrow,

Winding trail of smooth stones,

Lightened by their reflection of the moonlight and the bioluminescence of the fungi.

You intuitively turn to your right and get along this trail,

With a deep feeling of trust,

Burning like a flame on your chest,

That grows with each confident but light step that you take.

Feel safe and grateful that nature is guiding you in this journey.

Surrendering to this moment,

Simply walking through this beautiful,

Narrow trail that is lightened for you.

As you walk along,

The scent of pine,

Sether and wet earth grows richer,

Filling your nostrils with a clean,

Grounding fragrance.

The sound of a distant stream of water reaches your ears,

Its water singing over smooth rocks,

Creating a rhythmic,

Hypnotic murmur.

You begin to see that the end of the trail approaches,

And that it opens to a small clearing.

As you arrive,

You are greeted by the sound of fire crackles and a gentle breeze brings a wave of warm,

Hot air.

You take a moment to stop and simply appreciate the ambience,

The sounds,

The sensations that bring you peace and tranquility with every breath you take.

You decide to step close to the fire,

Standing in front of it whilst the wood burns,

And you ask those flames to do the same to all your worries,

Sorrows,

Sadness and disappointments.

A sudden flame coming from the center of the fire rises up high in the sky as quickly as it returns to where it came from,

And the fire continues burning as before.

You recognize that it's an invitation to release all the worries that you carry into the fire,

All the sadness that you carry into the fire,

All the disappointments,

All the stress and everything else that has been weighing you down.

As you breathe in,

The air touches within you the heaviness that is burdening you,

And as you breathe out,

The air takes all that to the flames and all of it is consumed by the fire.

And you stay here for a while,

Allowing the breathing air to work through you and take it all the way to the fire.

You notice how lighter and better you are feeling now,

With a sense of deep serenity and complete rest.

And you surrender to the need to rest,

And you choose a comfortable spot on a fallen log next to you by the fire that has been softened by years of moss.

The fire's heat brushes against your skin,

Not scorching but soothing,

Like a gentle hand resting on your shoulders.

Like a friend that has helped you without asking for nothing in return,

Simply appreciating your very presence in this moment.

You sit entertained by how the flames sway in sync with the forest's breathing,

Expanding as the wind sighs,

Contracting as it stills.

You then notice how the fire throws shadows that move like silent dancers across the bark of surrounding trees,

Creating a mesmerizing,

Ever-changing pattern.

You let your eyes follow the slow,

Rhythmic rise and fall of each flame.

You allow the fire's soft pop,

Hop,

Pop to sing you a lullaby,

With an orchestra of distant crickets chirping and an owl's low hoot echoing.

You feel the fire's warmth seep into your muscles,

Loosening any tightness in your neck,

Shoulders,

Lower back,

All over your body.

The comforting heat travels like a gentle wave through you,

Leaving a pleasant,

Relaxed heaviness in the body.

As you inhale deeply,

You draw in the sweet,

Resinous aroma of burning wood mixed with the earthy perfume of damp moss and pine sap.

Let each breath be a calming tonic for your mind.

You now begin a slow,

Rhythmic breathing that mirrors the fire's pulse and gentleness.

As you continue breathing,

The fire's light is slowly dimming.

The flames are becoming smaller,

Softer.

They are now just a faint glow on the horizon.

You welcome the serene darkness of the forest,

Wrapping you in a velvety blanket of peace for the night.

Feeling deeply peaceful and serene,

You step through the magical portal that once more has appeared for you.

You are now settling for your night of sleep.

You sense your eyelids heavy and your thoughts slow and distant as you drift into a sleep-restorative slumber.
