Hello,
My name is Faith Hunter and I'm going to share with you a technique on how to cut the cords.
Release negative energy.
And basically sever the things that are no longer serving you.
Let's get started.
So now we're going to do the cutting cords meditation.
Oftentimes we are emotionally,
Physically,
And energetically attached to things,
People,
Situations,
Emotions,
And behaviors.
But in order for us to sever those ties,
To cut them loose,
And as we often say,
Let them go.
We have to cut the cords.
So you want to find your way into a comfortable seat.
And the breath is just going to be slow and easy.
So you're just going to inhale and exhale through your nose.
And I'm going to guide you through the rest.
However you are going to use your physical body to move through this practice so you're going to lift both hands Your elbows are closed by your rib cage.
You're going to take your ring finger and your pinky finger.
You're going to drop those to your palm and then your thumb will hold them down comfortably.
Now,
That means that your index finger and your middle finger are open and extended.
And as we breathe in and out,
You're going to imagine your fingers being little scissors and they are going to sever.
You're going to cut the things that are no longer serving you.
Go on and close your eyes.
Relax your shoulders.
Allow the breath to flow sweetly in and out of your nose.
And if there's one thing that you need to release,
You need to cut.
You need to sever.
Bring that to the forefront of your mind.
If there are a few things,
That's okay.
And just begin to.
Open and close those fingers.
Again the breath is smooth.
And I want you to bring Those thoughts.
Those people,
Those things,
Those emotions that you were holding on to.
To the forefront of your mind,
To your mind's eye,
Right between your brow,
Your first eye.
As you see them.
You're cutting them loose.
Cutting the cords.
Letting it all go.
Stay present in the moment.
And simply visualize.
Yourself cutting them.
And them falling off.
You no longer need these in your life.
It's no longer serving your highest good.
It is not supporting.
Your personal elevation.
These things are not enhancing your spiritual health.
Your mental health.
Nor your physical health.
Stay present.
Cut the cords.
Slowly inhale.
And as you do,
Spread your index finger and middle finger apart,
Creating that V shape.
Keep holding the breath.
Draw the navel point in.
Keep holding,
Keep holding.
And exhale out of your mouth.
Release your hands.
Allow your hands to rest on your legs and the breath to flow gently in and out of your nose.
Feel.
Notice.
And observe.
And know that you have released those things that are no longer supporting you.
You have cut the cords.
Now allow yourself to settle into this moment.
Of steadiness.
Ease.
And higher connection.
Take another deep breath in.
Exhale,
Empty out.
Slowly begin to open your eyes.
And I definitely encourage you to do this practice more than one time.
So if you can,
Give it a try for seven days.
And then if that's still feeling good,
Continue to work on cutting the cords.
I mean,
Those attachments.
Took a long time to latch on to us and we sometimes continue to feed them.
So it does require a little more effort in order to fully sever the ties.
Seven days,
14 days,
21 days.
And if you can,
See if you can do this practice every day for 40 days.
