Merry meet my fairies selves,

It is Lina,

You're watching Fair Chamber Channel,

Welcome back to this howdy egg myths.

In Krieg mythos,

The symbol of the Gemini,

It is the twins and from Krieg mythos you can find several pairs of twins and that which twin is in which that which twin inspired the constellation of Gemini we don't know but here are some recommendation which twins could have been the twins.

There are some authors who have suggested that the twins are Apollo and Hercules who were not actually twins they were half brothers.

Most of the time these twins they are considered to be Castor and Pollux,

They were sons of Zeus and together they were known as Dioscuri.

You may have heard the bird myth of Castor and Pollux because it's one of those Zeus shape-shifting myths.

Once again Zeus had a crush on a mortal married woman and this lady was Leda who was married to Dunderaus,

The king of Sparta and Zeus and Hermes who often helped him in his pursuits they took forms of an eagle and a swan so in this case Leda she was swimming or taking a bath in a river Eorotus near Sparta and she saw a swan being chased by an aggressive eagle and the swan was Zeus and eagle was Hermes and of course this lady she saved this swan from the eagle and the and the swan was Zeus.

From this union consequences were two eggs that Leda hatched.

How is this possible?

I have no idea but it is a Greek myth and this kind of stuff happen in Greek myths all the time and from these two eggs four babies came out.

The version where there are two eggs hatched that comes from the classical times.

First egg emerged Castor and Clutemnestra,

His sister and from the other egg Polydakes and Helen.

Then the myth that was originally myth before the classical era of Greek mythology it was one egg that's where Polydakes and Castor came out.

Castor and Polyx they are seen as the divine twins and Dioskuri that means the sons of Zeus.

They were connected to Sparta and very much worshipped there and it was believed that they invented the chariot.

They were great horsemen and charioteers.

Most of the time Dioskuri was seen as heroes or pair of heroes instead of being gods but really in Sparta there was a whole cult that worshipped Dioskuri as the divine twins.

The sailors in ancient Greek they worshipped Dioskuri to give them courage and so that they could sail through the dangerous storms.

Dioskuri they were protectors of many Greek cities.

The world of ancient Greek it was not one country like we now know that Greece it's a one country but it was a collection of the city-states and they all had their independent governments and each of the city-states they had their own cults and basically their own gods or from the Greek pantheons that they worshipped.

In Greek mythology there are lots of stories about these great battles and you can find Dioskuri in many of them and all these heroic journeys you can find them helping Jason in doing his journey to find the golden fleas.

Dioskuri were fighting in the battle of Troy.

They also connected to the midst of Hercules and myths about Artemis.

They are connected to the myths about Hades because in the midst of Dioskuri they were invincible.

This is why many of the Greek states they wanted to have Dioskuri as their patron gods because when in the battle they would have Dioskuri on their side they would be invincible.

I would personally say that the most famous pair of twins in Greek mythology are Apollo and Artemis.

This couple was also born from another unholy union between Zeus and another woman which in this case was Titaness Leto and Leto she is considered to be sort of a Titaness slash goddess and she is the goddess of modesty,

Goddess of kindness and goddess of motherhood.

In the mid-era the wife of Zeus is making the life of Leto like living hell so she doesn't have any place where she could give birth so she hides into the wasteland of Mykonos and there she gives birth.

First she gives birth to Artemis who comes out as a young teenage goddess and then because she is a goddess of childbirth she straight away helps her mother to deliver her brother Apollo.

Apollo and Artemis you might first think that they don't really have anything in common because if you read the myths they are very different individuals but they do actually have quite many things in common.

First of all they are both astronomical deities Apollo being connected to the Sun and Artemis being connected to the moon.

Now the first original deities of the Sun in Greek mythology were Helios and Selene but Artemis and Apollo became these deities during the classical era of Greek mythology.

During the time when Greek mythology in a way was becoming more united because these Greek city-states they were becoming more united.

They are both deities of archery but usually Artemis is the one who we see directly as the deity of archery or even the patron goddess of archery but Apollo he is also goddess of archery.

Also when it comes to healing and medicine obviously in the Bird meat Artemis is the one who delivers her brother so she is a goddess of healing as well and she's especially goddess of childbirth and she can ease the pains of the childbirth and then Apollo he's the god of medicine and he's the protector god of doctors.

Another very common thing is that Apollo he's always described as Koros and Artemis she's Korae she's eternal Korae and Korae it means a maiden or eternal virgin and when it comes to Artemis the virgin in this case really means that she's not touched by man but then when we go back to the original mythology the Odess layer she does have fair sweet woman.

Then we have Apollo who was Koros meaning that he was eternal young man and he was very athletic.

In a way I think both Artemis and Apollo were described to be athletic because that was the beauty standard in ancient Greece.

Apollo he also had fair sweet both man and woman because that's what people did in ancient Greece.

Both gods and goddesses and mortal woman and mortal men.

Artemis she was usually described to be a teenager and she was protector of teenagers and especially young woman who had not yet got married she recruited young woman to be her hunters and they had to take an oath of chastity.

This tends to be in total contrast to the way Artemis was portrayed in classical Greek sculpture art because then she is usually described to be as a woman in her 20s and hunting with her like bare-breasted and all and it's because all those sculptures were mad.

You can also find this from later on Renaissance art and even today if you go to find some shitty art from Deviantart it is in a total contrast to the goddess because she was a goddess of chastity and goddess of virginity.

Apollo he was god of music,

He was god of poetry,

He was god of archery,

He was also god of inspiration and this is why this is very interesting about the symbol of the archer because you are always reaching your goal when you are shooting the arrow so basically that can be seen as a metaphor for inspiration.

He was god of oracles and he was god of knowledge and he was also god of healing and medicine but he could also bring diseases.

Artemis was goddess of hunting,

She was protector of wild animals,

She was a protector of wilderness,

Wild nature,

Definite protector of archery and patron of all the archers,

She was also patron of all hunters and hunters did pray her for good game.

It is interesting that Artemis she is also the protector of animals yet she's also the hunter-goddess of animals.

After doing 15 years of studies on Finnish mythology and on Mierik who is the hunter-goddess in Finland,

My homie,

I am pretty convinced that this actually refers to the hunter that hunters used to have back in the times that they honored the spirit of the animal.

They prayed for the goddess to take care of the spirit of the animal and help the spirit of the animal to find its way to the ancestors or whatever it is,

The place where the spirits of the animals go.

So I believe it was the same in ancient Greece and I'm pretty sure it was the same everywhere.

Artemis,

She's also protector of children,

She is also protector of youth and I think this has very psychological levels because we see her as the protector of wilderness and what do we do when we are children?

We roam around and we don't really care that much yet about the rules of society so it's very interesting.

Artemis,

You can see her as the guardian of the innocents.

This is where we go back to the Cheminae which is an air sign ruled by Mercury.

Cheminae,

They like to debate,

They can be very clever.

It is said that Gemini has two faces.

Imagine that you have both Apollo and Artemis inside you.

You can find many stories from Greek and Tawthi where Apollo and Artemis do not meet eye to eye.

If you have brothers or sisters or not even necessarily twin sisters or twin brothers,

You know,

Having debates with your siblings,

It's not unusual.

You are close to another person and you love them but you can still disagree with them occasionally.

I know tons of Cheminae and all the Cheminae that I know are extreme extroverts and are extremely talkative and sometimes I feel like it's difficult for me to connect with them because for me personally it's difficult to understand what is the true nature of Gemini.

It is quite common with the air signs that they are very talkative,

Very extroverted and very much people.

Cheminae,

They can be very determinative and they like to prove their point.

That's it for the Cheminae.

Thank you so much for watching guys!
