Hello and welcome.

Welcome to Everything is Energy.

I am recording today to document or bring through… She's already here.

To shed more light on Goddess Kali.

Many of us likely know her as a somewhat scary looking,

Skeletal,

Frightening crone with black skin,

Wearing animal skins,

Long nails,

Hair all over the place.

She's a little bit of a scary looking goddess.

But that points us to her power.

And she is needed on our planet now more than ever,

So I really do feel her coming through.

So I want to note the progression of Kali.

Kali first appears in the Atharva Veda,

Which is a collection of hymns and mantras published between 1200 BCE and 1000 BCE.

In that first appearance though,

She's not a goddess herself.

She's a fierce black tongue.

One of seven that belong to Agni,

Who is the god of fire.

Which points us to transformation.

And as we are in times of transformation,

I also offer transmutation.

The roots of Kali are relevant.

It's another 400 years before Kali is described as an individual in her own.

And that's when she appears about 600 CE in the Devi Mahatmya.

And this is where we see her as this terrible looking goddess.

And I'll get to that story in a moment.

But I want to share that Kali is often associated with Shiva.

Her very name is the feminine of Kala,

Which is the epithet of Shiva.

So this sort of inextricably ties her to them.

So while Shiva is seen as the silent aspect of transcendental reality,

Kali is seen as that dynamic aspect of transcendental reality.

And really I like to think of them as this divine feminine masculine balance,

The yin and the yang.

So Shiva is the all-pervading force.

And Kali is the destroyer of time.

Shiva is also the lord of time.

And Kali is the destroyer of time.

They're both known in some sense as the destroyer.

And what did they destroy?

They destroy the darkness.

Anything that is not of the light.

So I'll post some notes in the broadcast as I always do and share some more images of Kali with you.

But it's interesting to note that she's depicted as standing on Shiva.

And her arms are multiple and flailing about with weapons.

Her tongue is hanging out of her mouth,

Sort of thirsting,

Drooling.

And her hands and her feet are often red as if soaked in blood.

And she's just got this wild aspect.

And to us,

Well,

I live in the Western world.

To many Westerners,

This is a not super common version of femininity.

I mentioned in an earlier broadcast,

Falden Lamo,

Similar vibration.

These goddesses are,

Their power is immense.

It's limitless and it's truth seeking.

And as we seek to continue to re-embody the goddess,

I believe that Kali is here with us at this juncture on our planet to help us in the transformation and transmutation process.

One more thing about the relationship between Kali and Shiva.

In the Upanadshads,

It says,

That is far and at the same time that is near.

That moves and that moves not.

That is within and that is without.

It moves and it moves not.

So this shows us that when Kali is performing her role,

Reality is moving.

And when Shiva is performing his role,

Reality is silent.

So right now,

I think we can feel that reality is moving.

All right,

So let's get to one of the stories that's widely known about Kali.

And this is a story that just sort of generally starts out that once upon a time,

A long time ago,

The world,

Our world,

Was threatened by demons.

And the demons were rallying together to overthrow the gods and gain control of the earth.

The leader of this uprising was Raktabija.

He was known as the Demon General.

And now somehow,

Raktabija was granted a wish by Brahma.

And this,

The wish that Raktabija had was that his power would increase by a thousand every time a drop of his blood was spilled.

Very much like a demon cloning mechanism.

So the demons came to earth and they were ravaging its inhabitants.

And in desperation,

The gods turned to their feminine energy counterpart,

The goddess Shakti.

And the beautiful,

Powerful goddess Durga stepped forward.

Durga was armed with the weapons of the gods.

She rode into battle on a tiger as she is depicted,

Having tamed the tiger.

And she switched goddess forms many times during the battle.

She slayed all the demon soldiers as quickly as they advanced until all that remained was Raktabija,

The Demon General.

So as this battle between Raktabija and Durga ensued,

Raktabija's blood spilled everywhere.

And guess what happened from each drop of blood?

A thousand more demons sprang up.

So the demons advanced on this goddess by the thousands.

They were laughing and shouting at her dilemma.

And when she realized what was happening,

She became enraged and she furrowed her brows and she transformed herself into Kali,

The terrible one.

And this goddess,

As I mentioned,

Has multiple arms,

Crazy hair,

Long nails,

Skin sort of sagging off her bones,

Black skin.

And a thirsty red tongue.

And as Kali appeared,

She roared.

She roared in rage at what was happening on the planet.

And the demons that stood nearest to her were consumed with the roaring rage of that energy.

She had a necklace of skeletons around her neck and her eyes were blood red.

And when she turned her furious gaze upon the demon armies,

Just heard a look from both of her two eyes and the third eye in the middle of her forehead,

Half the demons just by looking at her fell lifeless from the deadly grip of her stare.

And she next let out a loud and just terrifying scream.

And as she did,

More fell dead at the ground around Kali's feet.

So then she began to cackle wildly and she was advancing on all these demons.

She reached out with her claw-like hands and shoved some of them down her throat.

Some of them got scared and started to run away and she continued to just have this wild cackling laughter.

And as they ran away,

She stretched out her red tongue and she swallowed all of the elephants and all of the demons as they tried to run.

The horse-drawn chariots also disappeared.

So now all the armies of the demons were fully destroyed.

She faced Raktabija and she immediately pierced him in the side and then quickly caught the flowing blood with her tongue and she drank it as if it was her life force energy.

Without letting any blood hit the ground,

She lifted him up and she let this blood flow out and she continued to drink all of the blood.

And as no blood hit the ground,

There were no demons that were coming to help him.

So he was helpless in the face of Kali.

And she continued to drink his blood as if it were the water that she'd been seeking when she'd been walking in the desert for days.

When all the blood was drained from his body,

She threw away his corpse and she was now drunken with the blood of victory.

So she began a victory dance over all the demon corpses.

And as she was sort of drunk off of the high of this victory,

She danced wildly.

She threw her head back,

She filled the skies with this cackling and the demon corpses were just reduced to mush.

And she just kept dancing and dancing and dancing and it seemed like nothing was able to stop her.

The gods became concerned and thought that something must be done to control this uncontrollable goddess.

So they begged Shiva,

Her consort,

To intervene.

So Shiva comes to intervene and at first,

Just by the thunderous pounding of Kali's dance,

He fell over.

And then she stepped on him and he got up and he understood,

Wow,

I am not able to harness the power of this goddess.

He hurried back to tell the gods and they again said,

You're the only one that can do something.

So then he just called out to her,

But she could not hear him because she was just entranced in this victory dance,

Having purged the world of these demons.

So Shiva called out and called out and finally in an act of total desperation,

He threw himself down beneath her feet and she continued to dance.

And it was only when she realized she was dancing on her husband that she came out of her trance and became the calm version of herself.

So this is such a cool story because it shows us this wild power of the divine feminine.

Filled for a purpose,

However,

For seeking truth,

Light,

And goodness on the planet.

And it also shows how scary many can perceive this power,

How the gods just simply could not comprehend how to stop her and bring her back.

And it's arguable whether or not she needed to be stopped or whether she stopped of her own accord.

What's also interesting in the pictures of Kali that are,

Most all of them that are circulating,

She's seen standing on Lord Shiva.

So in all of her crazy wildness,

Beneath her feet is her consort or her husband.

And this is an interesting thing to consider when we consider rebalancing the divine masculine and the divine feminine.

And as we consider what this means,

It might just mean that the masculine laid down to allow the feminine to do its work.

Another interpretation in Indian tradition,

Sankaracharya receives wisdom from Kali.

So as the story is told,

In the beginning,

Sankaracharya did not pay attention to women.

He felt that women were not suited to spirituality.

Then as he was about to lose the debate on this subject,

It dawned on him that Mother Kali stood on Lord Shiva's chest.

Some say that Shiva was giving her energy and this is why she was able to kill the enemies.

Another way to say this is that Shiva was dead and Kali was reviving him.

And then another interpretation is a story that I just shared.

As always,

Take what is true for you.

And I invite you to consider that during this time of change on our planet where we can feel the heaviness,

This goddess is perfectly poised to take all that heaviness.

And first and foremost,

As always,

It starts with ourselves.

The things,

The darkness,

The fear that is within us and then extends out to the darkness and the fear that is all over the world.

And it's considered that she eats and lives off our frustration,

Our fear,

Our darkness.

And I just,

I love the way that Ram Dass talks about Kali.

He passed away just about six months ago,

But this was in a talk of probably about eight or nine years ago.

He talks about how when we have these frustrations,

When we have this heaviness,

We can consider that Kali feeds on this.

And in the manner of a mother to a child,

And this is to quote Ram Dass,

We can say,

Here Ma,

You eat it and something like come and eat it Ma,

I don't want it anymore.

And literally that just brings a smile to my face because it really does.

Kali is a scary goddess to many people,

But she's also Kali Ma.

She's also Ma means mother.

She is the mother goddess and she's here to support us.

Just like Falden Lamo supporting the children of light.

And as we consider giving her our heaviness,

We know that is exactly what she's craving.

So we're going to do two practices today.

Oh my gosh,

Before we get to the practice,

I want to share with you one more story about Kali that I think is a demonstrative of her quality.

She was summoned by a group of criminals who they wanted to sacrifice a human to her image in order to gain her favor because they knew she loved blood.

So they chose a young monk of upstanding character.

And the first curious thing that happened was his light was so bright that her statue was affected by his presence.

And as they're attempting to sacrifice this monk,

She manifests.

And at first the criminals think,

Wonderful,

We've got Kali,

We've got this powerful goddess,

This bloodthirsty goddess.

But she's the wiser.

She proceeds only to kill the criminals,

Decapitating them and drinking their blood and saving the life of the monk.

And this is wonderful because in this story,

She demonstrates that she's not going to be controlled by those who think they understand her.

It shows her triumph over the attributes of ignorance and darkness.

And it also shows the absolute impartiality of her nature.

She's about one thing and that is truth and light.

And in some sense,

She really does understand decisive action and when resolve must be shown.

And she's here to help us during our times of transformation.

So now let's get to a practice.

Find a quiet,

Comfortable space.

Sit or lie with a straight spine.

Gosh,

And I can already feel her energy here.

Just simply find your breath,

Find your center point.

And notice in your body,

Maybe it's in your heart,

Maybe it's in your gut,

Where you're holding tension.

And first just release that tension as if mist in the air and send it over to this goddess.

She appears right in front of you about 10 feet away.

She's about 10 or 12 feet tall.

And she's dark black.

Everything about her is black except for the red on her palms,

The red of her tongue and the red of her eyes.

But you can almost feel this magnetic aspect of her.

As you send through the mist,

The tension in your body,

She's pulling it,

She's wanting it,

She's pulling it away from you.

She's wanting you to be light.

And she knows it's her job to consume this darkness.

And that's exactly her palette.

So now come to your heart to notice if there's any heaviness on your heart.

Notice if there's anything you want to tell her or send to her,

Any heaviness,

Darkness,

Fear,

Anger,

Frustration,

Whatever it is,

This goddess is craving it.

So as you are ready to unburden your heart,

Lift whatever this is out of your heart.

You can tell her about it,

You can just simply send it to her.

And feel,

Watch her eyes light up as she consumes this darkness.

And as she consumes it,

It's forever gone.

And just feel how fearless she is.

And one more time,

Just connecting with any other aspect of your body.

If your heart is still a little bit heavy,

Notice if there's anything else there that you're just ready to offer up to give to her knowing that this is going to satisfy her.

She's demonstrating this beautiful symbiosis,

This yin and yang.

She wants to consume whatever darkness you want to give her.

And then bring your awareness to the world at large,

To anything that you've witnessed,

Especially the ways that we've been habitualized into being that don't serve.

If there's anything that you find upsetting or ready for release,

Give her that as well.

The world that you live in,

The things that you see that you're ready to give to Kali,

This goddess is thirsty,

She's hungry,

She's craving these darker aspects of everything about our world.

Remember in that first story,

She saved the earth from darkness by consuming all the demons.

So whatever you want to round up and send to her,

Again,

Watch it almost magnetic-like be drawn to her and watch her consume it with this joy.

Little bit more time here,

Just sending any other aspect that you feel is ready,

Is darkness and ready for upgrade,

Send it to her and watch her consume it.

Now notice if she has any messages for you or wants to tell you something about herself.

One of the messages that's coming through for me is that she's saying,

I am here in this manner that's not that she's ever not been here,

But she's really wanting us to know that she's cool with hanging out for a while,

For as long as we need her in that motherly way,

Kali Ma.

Ma means mother.

So let's get to one more practice.

I invite you to chant with me either aloud or to yourself,

Depending on what's comfortable for you.

We're going to chant M-A,

Ma,

To invoke Mother Kali and we're going to chant A-H,

Ah,

To invoke our heart.

Ah is the tone that resonates with the heart chakra.

It entrains it to shine as brightly as possible.

I invite you to imagine that you're inhaling light and as you're chanting Ma,

You're calling on Kali to consume the darkness and sending out light.

So wherever the light that you're sending out meets any darkness,

Kali's there on the front lines of that light and just consuming anything that is not of the light.

So we're going to do this nine times.

This nine seems to be the magic number right now.

The first two times,

I invite you to imagine that we are creating a web of light by sending higher vibrations around the planet,

As I mentioned with 140 countries and thousands of people.

This is a super powerful practice and this can happen across time and space.

We are so much more than linear time as Kali is showing us the destroyer of time.

So Ma is what we're going to be chanting,

Invoking Kali and sending the light of our heart out around the planet.

Chanting in light and then chanting and sending out light.

Now imagine as you're sending out this light that everyone who's listening is doing the same thing,

So we're lighting up this web of light around Mother Earth,

Seeding a higher vibration and wherever this web of light meets any darkness,

Kali's there on the front lines consuming the darkness.

One more time,

Let's chant Ma to activate this web of light.

Ma to activate this web of light.

Feel yourself already powerful,

Empowered.

The light that you're channeling as a conduit of light,

You're receiving this light as you send it out from your heart.

Imagine this being sent out from your heart.

What's next for the next two breaths?

Send love directly to Mother Earth and to all the grids around the Earth as they're being activated and lit up.

Invoking Mother Kali to consume the darkness and just sending beautiful light from our hearts.

Two breaths here.

Send it to Mother Earth,

Send it to the Earth grids.

Breathe in.

Ma.

One more time and just feel this light flowing through you and this light surrounding our planet.

Breathing in.

Ma.

Wonderful.

For the next two breaths,

We're going to send love to the places on our planet that might need a little bit of light,

To the places where we source electricity.

If it's a nuclear generator,

A dam,

It's coal or maybe water or solar.

We are electromagnetic beings and as we send this light for the next two breaths,

Let Kali be in the front lines,

MA,

Mother Kali goes first,

The light from our heart is right behind it so we're transmuting,

Transforming any heaviness related to electricity into light.

Breathing in.

Ma.

One more time,

Same thing.

Breathe in.

Ma.

All right,

For the last three breaths,

We're going to send love to the virus that is present on our planet,

To the coronavirus and we're going to send love to all of its,

All the people who have been impacted by it as well.

Let Kali go first,

Let the light from our hearts be right on its heels to seed and infuse the virus and those affected by it with light and love.

Three breaths this time,

Three chants.

Breathe in.

Ma.

And imagine this web of light and love healing,

Uplifting these energies.

Two more times,

Breathing in.

Ma.

Wonderful,

One last time.

Inhale,

Send this light out through your heart.

Ma.

Nice,

Now just notice how you feel in your body and in your energy field.

Hopefully you can feel that you've channeled light and sent light out and you're also,

The karma of healing is we receive everything that we channel.

Hopefully you can feel yourself more filled with light and more balanced.

So as we head towards close,

Kali really wants us to know that she's not going anywhere super quickly right now.

I've been shown that it might be a couple of year process before everything fully rebalances and she's letting us know in very much motherly style.

She has our back.

She's here to support us and she wants us to remember that she craves and thrives on and consumes these heavy energies so we can send them to her whenever we want,

Whenever we need.

And lastly about the heart,

I am happy to announce that the heart alchemy course is ready for enrollment,

Ready for you guys to check it out at least.

I will put a link so that you can get to the course homepage and I've got a free little mini information session about the many things that you might not know about your heart.

It's a three week course.

It starts,

Gosh,

I think it starts April,

Let me check.

It starts Wednesday,

April 22nd.

If you enroll before the 22nd,

You can take part in three weekly live video calls and you'll also get a couple extra bonuses of a yoga practice and another practice to help us stay bright.

And ultimately what I was called to teach was both science and spirit because I think that's where our minds really do relax and then more light flows through.

So you're going to hopefully discover all sorts of interesting fringe science is what many call it,

But it's still science experiments and discoveries about us,

Our power,

Our bodies,

And also be able to really get intimate with your heart,

Your human heart and the power of your heart and use it just as we just did in this broadcast for massive global healing.

Now is the time.

So I'll put a link for you to check that out.

I'll put a link for you to learn more about Goddess Kali.

And I just want to thank you as always.

Together we rise together.

We transform together.

We transmute every single person that listens is needed.

And I really hope that you can feel the gratitude coming from me.

And I just so appreciate that we get to embody global community for healing our planet.

Be well.

Be bright.

And be blessed.

Much love.

Thank you.

Be past Oman,

Come now.

That was a fantastic talk giving a wealth of information and insight into our fierce, protective, ever-vigilant Kali Ma as she does her dance, leading us out of the Kali Yuga and into the Satya Yuga, our New Golden Age. My one critique is the background music. I understand, honor, and respect that for some, background music helps and aids in storytelling, and assisting listeners in feeling the power of the story. However, for others like me, background music actually hinders us from having a more full, connected experience with the story, because our brains have extreme difficulty processing and integrating two separate layers of audio. I had to listen to this with the volume turned down to the very last notch, and it still was very overwhelming and difficult to listen to the spoken words. I would love to hear a version of this talk with no distracting background music or sound. Thank you for hearing me šŸ™ā¤ļøāœØ
