Aquarius Solar Eclipse Meditation: The Portal

This meditation is offered in alignment with the Aquarius New Moon Solar Eclipse, a powerful threshold at the beginning of eclipse season. Solar eclipses act as portals of recalibration, inviting deep listening, release, and the emergence of new timelines. Together, we ground the body, tend the inner flame of devotion, and soften into the mystery of what is unfolding. This practice supports clarity, integrity, and courageous new beginnings as Aries-era energy begins to rise. Suitable for all levels.

Hello and welcome.

Welcome to the new moon in Aquarius,

Which is also a solar eclipse.

This event is exact on February 17,

2026 at 4am Pacific time.

We have the sun and the moon together at 28 degrees Aquarius.

That's the anaerobic degree,

The final culminating degree that carries a sense of both intensity as well as completion.

And I mentioned this new moon is also a solar eclipse.

And,

You know,

This,

It's worth saying it's obvious that solar eclipses are not simply new moons,

They're,

They're thresholds.

This particular new moon is a portal in time.

A moment when the light of the sun.

The sun is our,

Our 3d self in the world,

The light is temporarily obscured.

And the ordinary rhythm of consciousness is rebooted or interrupted and restarted.

And symbolically eclipses remind us that life is always moving beneath the surface that even when we cannot see clearly that transformation is indeed unfolding.

And while new moons are already beginnings they are seeding times eclipses on a new moon amplify that beginning by millions,

They accelerate change they realign trajectories.

The solar eclipse has the potential to reveal what has been hidden.

And,

You know,

It's it's the potential to usher us into a new chapter.

But we're being ushered into a new chapter.

Before we might fully understand in our thinking mind.

What's happening.

This is why eclipses are called portals I like to say they lift us up and out of linear time and space they can eclipse seasons and this is the beginning of our clip season right here.

With this new moon.

This is the beginning of our first two eclipse seasons in 2026 but eclipse seasons can feel surreal.

They may be,

You know,

There's a sense of this above and beyond linear time and space fate.

And maybe there's this emotional intelligence intuitively spidey senses are up.

And,

You know,

Because eclipses lift us up and out of linear space and time events can unfold quickly in our realizations may arrive without any kind of warning.

And certain timelines may close while new ones may open.

And yet,

It's worth noting that eclipses are not meant to be forced in general.

And this eclipse is coming off the heels of just three days earlier we had Saturn moving into Aries and,

You know,

The theme there was about being a part of this transformation but again not not forcing it.

So this eclipse is re amplifying that theme,

Separate they're both saying that but together so close they're really wanting to put an exclamation point on this point,

This is not a moment to over control.

This is not a moment to over manifest as if to rush.

This is a moment to listen to surrender to the larger intelligence of the universe,

And to trust that if we experience something being rearranged,

This is not punishment this is invitation.

And this solar eclipse is literally the cosmos whispering to us that something new is being born.

And that we,

While this is a threshold moment it's not just us standing alone,

Stepping through this doorway we are being guided.

So,

I'll get to the astrology next but I just kind of wanted to say you know this eclipse is inviting us to soften our urgency and to let this be a sacred beginning,

And to be with it in the unfolding in time.

So,

We have both the sun and the moon in Aquarius and Aquarius is reminding us that this threshold moment is not only personal.

It is collective.

And it is evolutionary.

It's about the future that we are co creating but really the future that we are being ushered toward,

And the inner freedom required to meet it.

So let's just take a breath here and take that in we're standing at the edge of something amazing.

And this eclipse takes place not only in the sign of Aquarius but at the anaerobic degree of Aquarius,

Which is often seen as a culminating degree.

You know,

Anaerobic degrees carry the feeling of something reaching its final expression.

Anaerobic degrees can also show the shadow of the sign.

And,

You know,

Aquarius is the sign of collective consciousness,

Future oriented vision.

Aquarius is fixed masculine fire reminder it's ruled by Uranus.

So,

You know,

There's this also energy of liberation and liberation with themes for the collective with themes of social systems,

And really it's Aquarius is inviting us to awaken beyond our personal self.

So at the shadow.

There's this ability to see where we in our,

Our collective is some aspects might not be willing to,

To meet the collective.

And that's going to become apparent.

And on our personal level,

You know that this,

This culmination of Aquarius is also the theme that I think is more relevant for us here is,

You know,

What is ending in the way we relate to the collective.

What is completing in the way we understand community,

Belonging and purpose.

And also,

You know what future is beckoning us.

And if we are feeling called we also might right now with the solar eclipse have some realizations about some inner attachments that are ready to be released,

So that we can step through this threshold moment.

And,

You know,

Even though eclipses are above and beyond linear time and space there's also this sense that if we have our,

Our finger on the pulse of what's going on in our world,

You know,

Maybe it's also just an acceleration of what's already unfolding.

And it's,

You know,

It's a revelation,

But it's also a,

You know,

Eclipses reveal they remove they realign.

And so this new moon,

I would offer in the sign of Aquarius is one of cosmic reorientation.

Now we also have a powerful concentration,

A stellium of planets in Aquarius,

This is amplifying the Aquarian energy field.

Pluto is at the early degrees of Aquarius,

As we know it just went into Aquarius in November last year.

And this is just getting the party started on the continuing theme of long term transformation of our collective systems.

Pluto and Aquarius is reshaping our power structures,

Our technology,

Our communities,

And potentially the future of humanity itself.

And Pluto's energy is slow moving,

But profound and this is also why I sense that this eclipse season is kicking off with the new moon in Aquarius because Pluto is also there.

So it's striking a chord again with the themes of when we just had Saturn enter into Aries.

This is about a long term shift.

This is not about instant gratification.

This is not about the quickest way we can fix or take our button off the pain point.

This is about,

You know,

Slow moving,

As I mentioned,

But profound energy.

We are in the early days of a new era.

And I've mentioned in previous podcasts,

This is,

I'm going to just lightly gloss over it here.

You know,

All the outer planets changing signs are pinging on three really profound events.

The Revolutionary War for the United States,

The Civil War for the United States and World War II.

And this is,

I think,

Why we can palpably feel that we are in the early days of a new era.

And in all three of those events that I mentioned,

It's worth noting that we're not repeating that cycle.

Humanity has consciously continued to evolve since those previous times.

And even though we're revisiting some of the themes a little bit,

We can rest assured that because we are sitting here today,

Interested in energy,

Interested in how the cosmos informs us and guides us,

Interested in our part in seeding a bright new future,

That this will be a tremendous new beginning.

But just as we imagine if we were in those situations in the Revolutionary War or the Civil War,

World War II,

There was probably a point where it wasn't over.

It wasn't clear and finished like we read it in history books or like we're told about it.

But it was probably palpably then also clear that some change,

Some new beginning was afoot.

So it's also worth noting here that we also have Mars and Vesta conjunct at 19 degrees Aquarius.

And the number 19 carries its own transformational energy and its own powerful energy and numerology.

But I want to stick to the myths and the astrology here because Mars conjunct Vesta is a striking combination.

And we're still in the theme of Aquarius here.

Vesta is the Roman goddess of the sacred hearth flame.

Vesta represents devotion,

Inner focus,

Spiritual discipline,

And the flame that is tended over time.

And as the Vestal Virgins in the time of Rome consecrated their life to keeping that flame,

This is also inviting us to think about what we are consecrating our life force toward.

And it's worth noting that Vesta is not flashy.

She's steady.

She asks us what is sacred enough to devote ourself to?

What inner fire are we tending?

Quietly,

Faithfully,

Even when no one is watching.

And now Mars brings this kind of action and will and heat and momentum with this conjunction.

So Mars conjunct Vesta is just this sort of ignition of devotion.

It begs the question,

Where does our energy belong now?

And what cause or vision or future are we willing to take action for?

Now in Aquarius,

This becomes about the collective.

This is not only personal,

It is in alignment with something larger.

And I'll repeat again,

This is unfolding over a larger time trajectory.

This is a disciplined future building.

This is the consecration of our will.

Our will to harness the power of our consciousness here and now in this world in which we live.

We also have Mars in Vesta,

That conjunction in Aquarius,

Squaring Uranus and Algol at the anaerobic degrees of Taurus.

And,

You know,

I'll just touch lightly again.

It's worth noting that Algol is one of the most mythically charged fixed stars.

Algol is Medusa.

Algol is the blinking eye of Medusa.

And that is very much about speaking what is true and instantly being able to know when something other than that is being spoken.

And Uranus is,

As I've mentioned,

The Awakener.

But I've also mentioned in recent broadcasts,

Uranus is also the disruptor.

Disruption does not mean something negative.

Here,

You know,

Uranus is the liberator.

And in Uranus and Taurus,

Uranus is going to move into Gemini in just a little bit of time later on at the beginning of this year.

But at the anaerobic degrees of Taurus,

Uranus has been shaking up our relationship to stability.

And to our body and to resources,

As well as our relationship to our values.

Uranus is really asking us to,

You know,

Not just blindly go along,

But to step up and to step into the power that we hold to co-create a beautiful new Earth.

And I don't mean,

You know,

New Earth mystical.

This is a 3D experience.

Because Saturn is definitely involved.

I mentioned again,

Saturn just went into Aries.

But,

You know,

Algal is adding a deeper mythic layer.

Because Medusa represents the places where power has been distorted through fear,

Exile,

Projection,

Suppression.

And,

You know,

In her story,

What was once sacred feminine power becomes turned into something.

Well,

In the myth as we know it,

It's something that's demonized.

But if we look at the deeper meaning of the myth,

I'm not going to get into it here.

But there was not a catastrophe.

There was a higher order of alignment between Athena and Algal.

And Athena ended up using Medusa's head on her shield to win in battle.

So,

You know,

Algal is showing that the shadow is able to be seen right now.

And we're going to be able to see where the truth has been twisted.

And where there have been power plays or gaslighting or distortion.

And beyond just witnessing that,

This is about reclamation.

This square suggests that our commitment to who we are and why we're here will be activated.

Will be,

In eclipse fashion,

Rebooted.

The sacred focus,

You know,

May be interrupted by sudden awakenings.

But these disruptions are not meaningless.

It's worth,

Again,

Remembering that a disruption is literally untangling,

Disentangling.

So that we can be liberated from what is not needed to move forward in the future.

We can be lightened up.

And we can have more clarity.

Now we still have the minor triangle between Uranus,

Pluto and Jupiter and Neptune.

And,

You know,

Uranus is a supportive part of that minor triangle.

Just because the word is minor does not mean it's anything less than a grand trine.

It's a really supportive flowing aspect.

And,

You know,

Pluto and Aquarius and Jupiter and Neptune moving into Aries.

This is an important background harmony.

And it really just is worth remembering that beneath any kind of volatility,

There's this deeper structural shift underway.

Uranus is awakening our values.

Pluto is transforming our collective systems.

And Jupiter and Neptune are opening a new spiritual beginning for us.

They're now both in Aries.

They will be conjunct just three days after this eclipse.

So let's go to another aspect that I think is worth noting here.

We have Venus conjunct the North Node and Pallas in the sign of Pisces.

So this is another beautiful thread in this chart.

You know,

Venus conjunct the North Node and Pallas Athena at eight degrees of Pisces.

Venus here speaks of love,

Of values,

Of justice,

Of relationships,

Of beauty,

Of harmony.

And the North Node is where we're headed.

It points toward karmic growth,

Where we're being pulled toward.

And Pallas Athena is really a wonderful addition here.

She adds wisdom.

You know,

Pallas Athena is the goddess of strategic intelligence,

Pattern recognition,

And sacred wisdom.

And she is part of this overarching theme of being patient because she's not impulsive.

She's looking at things as if she's looking at a chessboard.

And if you've ever watched anybody play chess or played chess yourself,

You'll know that game is not about getting done as quickly as possible.

It's about the pattern recognition.

It's about sacred wisdom.

And in Pisces,

Her wisdom becomes intuitive,

Spiritual,

And compassionate.

So this conjunction suggests that the way forward is through softness,

Through devotion,

Through relational healing.

And it's going to add this softer energy to the disruption that I was talking about because it's not about chaos and all heck breaking loose.

It's about the proper kind of shaking free of the things that no longer serve.

So to have Pallas' presence here is going to really lead us toward the future that's guided by both beauty and discernment.

And finally,

I just want to name,

You know,

In the background we have,

And I have several podcasts on,

You know,

Neptune moving into Aries,

Saturn moving into Aries.

I'll put one out in a couple days about that conjunction that happens on the 20th.

But we really are,

You know,

It's important to name what's building in the background here.

With Neptune and Saturn and Aries,

We're entering into this Aries energy.

They're now both at zero degrees Aries,

Even though they're not exactly conjunct as I'm recording this podcast.

And on the 17th,

They're not going to be exactly conjunct.

But,

You know,

What we're starting to feel,

Because everything happens in this large,

It's not just a point in time and the 20th is going to be the date when the revelation happens.

We might very well feel this right now.

Saturn and Neptune at zero degrees of Aries are the first spark of an entirely new cycle.

Zero degrees Aries is the raw beginning.

It's the beginning of the zodiac.

It's a sacred initiation.

So,

But this is also an anaerobic degree.

You know,

We talk about the anaerobic degrees being the latter degrees,

But the early degrees is also an anaerobic degree.

And it's important to know that there's a shadow there too,

Because zero degrees is this innocence of a sign,

This newness,

This any,

Anything is possible.

But the shadow side could be impulsivity or domination or quick,

Quick witted reactionary,

Not witted,

But quick,

Quick movement,

Reactionary movement.

The urge to act without wisdom.

So it's important just to kind of know that that energy is also swirling around.

But,

But,

But the gift of,

Of zero degrees Aries is also that that's,

It's a personal choice that there's so much more swirling around courage,

Self-empowerment,

Leadership,

And the willingness to,

To be in a,

In a sacred new beginning.

And we also have Eris conjunct Chiron at 24 degrees Aries.

So we have Saturn and Neptune at zero,

But Eris conjunct Chiron at 24 degrees Aries adds another layer.

And this is,

You know,

Sore spots or wounds around identity,

Autonomy,

Our voice might come to light,

But they're coming to light for the purpose of healing.

So if we feel like there's an old theme that resurrects itself here during these times,

We get to know,

Just like the world is in a different place than it was during the Revolutionary War or World War II,

We are in a different place today than we were two weeks ago or two years ago.

So,

You know,

This eclipse season is asking us,

You know,

Can we begin again without repeating old distortions of power?

Can we step forward with integrity?

And can we step into our personal power,

The power of each of us as individual creators?

Can we step into that power without severing our connection to the interconnected whole?

Can we step in,

Claim our power,

Simultaneously come online more than ever before in the tapestry of the collective?

So before we get to meditation,

I would offer that this is a solar,

The solar eclipse is a portal.

It's a threshold into a new vibrational state.

And with that,

Let's get to a meditation.

Eclipses can open up a lot.

Let's go ahead and start to really integrate.

So find somewhere where you won't be disturbed for the next about 10 minutes of time.

Somewhere where you can let yourself settle.

And if you'd like to,

You can close your eyes and just begin by taking a slow,

Easy inhale.

Breathe in through your nose.

And a long,

Steady exhale,

Release through the mouth.

Again,

Breathing in through the nose.

Slowing down the breath,

Deepening it,

Softening it.

And exhale,

Take your time releasing the breath through the mouth.

Easy,

Slower breath in through the nose,

Let your nervous system soften.

And as you release the breath,

Just feel that you're releasing any distraction,

Any tension,

Anything that's starting to unravel and ready to go.

Let the mind loosen its grip.

And staying connected to the breath,

Continuing that easy,

Slightly slower,

Deeper breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Go ahead and bring your awareness down into the base of your body.

If you're seated,

Maybe it's your sit bones and your feet on the ground.

If you're lying down,

Maybe it's just where your whole body is.

Maybe your whole body is meeting what you're lying on.

But regardless,

Feel the support beneath you.

Feel yourself held and supported.

And imagine roots extending from your feet and your spine or from the back of your body.

Imagine roots extending down into the earth.

And as you send those roots down,

Feel that the earth is steady.

The earth is conscious and present.

She knows how to hold change.

Just start to feel the power that's in that soil,

The conscious living wisdom of Mother Earth.

And with each breath,

Feel yourself becoming anchored.

Eclipses are portals,

But grounding keeps us steady and safe within them.

And just take a nice deep breath into the nose.

Release the breath through the mouth.

Now in your inner awareness,

Imagine a doorway of night sky.

A quiet celestial threshold.

This doorway is maybe within you or right in front of you.

This is the eclipse.

And as you're meeting this doorway that shows you the night sky,

This is not something to fear.

This is something to respect and to honor.

This is a moment of sacred recalibration.

And as you're meeting this cosmic doorway,

Know that you do not need to push yourself through.

You're simply standing at the edge,

Witnessing.

Let yourself feel the sacredness of not having everything sorted out.

Of not knowing.

And as you meet this cosmic threshold,

Let yourself rest in the mystery.

And potentially,

Aloud or maybe silently,

Speak to yourself,

I allow this new beginning to unfold.

I allow this new beginning to unfold.

Now bring your awareness to your heart center,

Where your heart is,

But right on your spine,

Right at the center of your chest.

And imagine a flame there.

This heart flame is the flame that is your soul flame.

Very much aligned with Vesta's hearth fire.

Feel your own inner flame of devotion.

And connect with its steadiness.

Not ambition.

Not urgency.

Just sacred focus.

And ask yourself gently,

What is my energy meant for today,

Now?

What is my energy meant for now?

What am I tending?

What future is asking for my care?

And don't force any answers,

Just let the flame in your heart burn steadily.

Breathing in through your nose.

Releasing that breath through the mouth.

And now begin to expand your awareness beyond your physical body into your energetic field.

You might notice how far out your field extends at this particular moment in time.

You can imagine an oval,

Toroidal-shaped field around your body.

And as you sense the size and shape of your field,

Also sense that where your field ends is not empty space.

There's space,

There's intelligence all around you.

Limitless,

Vast,

Cosmic intelligence.

Aquarius reminds us that our lives are not separate.

That we are an intrinsic part of the collective field.

And again,

Imagine the future as that vast,

Open night sky.

Unwritten and alive with possibility.

And start to feel how this eclipse is not asking you to solve the future.

Only to align with the frequency of truth.

That's what we're being invited to do,

To align with the frequency of truth.

And maybe you can silently or aloud affirm if it resonates for you.

I release what is outdated.

I release what is outdated.

I release what is outdated.

I welcome what is emerging.

I welcome what is emerging.

And I walk forward with integrity.

And now,

Still connected to your field and to the vast expanse of the collective field and to the flame within your heart.

Also invite the spark of Aries.

Beginning.

The first flame.

Maybe this energy is in the background right now.

New beginnings can be a little bit raw.

But new beginnings also require courage.

And this eclipse reminds us that courage does not mean rushing or forcing.

Courage means showing up authentically and honestly.

To allow ourselves to embody both strength and softness.

To allow ourselves to begin again with wisdom.

To choose empowerment over distortion.

And to choose truth.

Connect to your breath,

Breathing in through your nose.

Still slightly deeper inhale and releasing that breath through the mouth.

Feel the physicality of your body.

Feel the rise and fall of your chest.

Feel the experience of the breath.

But also feel the steadiness of the earth.

And also stay connected to the quiet flame burning within you.

This eclipse is working with us even when we're doing nothing.

And it invites us to trust the unfolding.

And maybe set the intention to take that energy with you.

That sense of trust.

That sense of steady,

Wise courage.

That sense of personal empowerment as a part of the collective.

These are the themes that we're working with.

And then when you are ready,

Just bring your awareness again to your physical body.

And maybe begin to move your fingers or toes or move your head from side to side.

You can stay here for as long as you'd like.

But when you're ready,

You can gently open your eyes.

May this new moon and eclipse guide you through a doorway of renewal.
