Alyssa Snow is a meditation teacher, writer, and guide whose work explores the intersection of nervous system regulation, embodied spirituality, and everyday life. For more than two decades, she has helped students cultivate greater awareness, emotional resilience, and a deeper relationship with themselves through meditation, yoga, breathwork, contemplative practice, and honest self-inquiry. Her teaching is grounded in a simple observation: a regulated nervous system changes what we can perceive, access, and create. When the body feels safe, awareness expands. When awareness expands, new possibilities emerge. On Insight Timer, Alyssa shares guided meditations, spoken teachings, poetic transmissions, courses, and live classes that help students move from reactivity to presence and from survival to participation in their own lives. She is the creator of The Sacred Way, a practice-based path of awakening that emphasizes consistency, embodiment, and direct experience. Many students begin with her Insight Timer course, Awakening the Multidimensional Self, deepen their practice in The Practice Room, and continue into her small six-month Nervous System Immersion. She lives in the Bronx, New York, with her husband, three daughters, her mother-in-law, and two dogs who remain largely uninterested in spiritual development but quite interested in squirrels.
