Hi,
I'm Erin Jean with Erin Jean Coaching and today I'm going to lead you through a negative release meditation.
I'm going to take you now on a fantastic imaginary journey,
A journey through the realms of your subconscious mind.
And as I mentioned the way to go,
You'll find the images floating into your mind.
You can make any images that you like and whatever comes to you is the right thing.
And you'll find that the more you relate,
The more that you picture,
The deeper into the scene you will go and the more deeply relaxed and comfortable you will become.
The more you are able to imagine your vivid scene with colors and descriptions,
You'll feel as though you are actually there whilst at the same time knowing you're here in this moment in this wonderful state of deep relaxation.
So let us begin.
I want you to picture yourself standing in a puddle of water.
How does it feel to you?
How deep is the puddle?
Is it warm or cool?
Do you feel comfortable here?
What do you see as you look around?
Now slowly raise your arms and create a wonderful protective bubble around yourself.
Can you see it?
The sunlight is reflecting a myriad of different colors upon your bubble and you feel so calm in here and so safe.
The soft air in the bubble melts away any tension you previously may have felt and you can feel yourself becoming lighter,
Light and floaty and the bubble lifts you up higher and higher until you're in the air floating above the puddle leaving it far behind.
Look around you and see all that there is.
And as you take in the scene you become deeper and deeper relaxed.
Good.
Now you're moving in your bubble toward a meadow.
You may see lovely new mown grass or a flowing stream or wildflowers or animals grazing.
Take in the scene exactly how it is for you is just right in all of its detail.
And the further you go the deeper and more relaxed you become going further and deeper and feeling so calm and relaxed.
And you're just floating along in this calm peaceful way until suddenly a strong gust of wind comes along and it blows you into a place where you don't really want to go.
You're heading towards a forest and there's no way of stopping yourself.
Even so you can be curious as to what will happen in the forest.
The forest is deep and dark and you have a feeling of anticipation.
Not so long ago you were calm but now you begin to experience a heavy feeling in the pit of your stomach and it reminds you of all of those negative feelings that you've been experiencing weighing you down and you become heavier moving down and down and down.
You land in the forest in front of a tree.
Look at the tree and notice is it old or new tall or short?
Does it have leaves or needles?
What type of bark is on the tree?
What do you see here?
What do you feel here?
What is around you at this particular time?
And as you take it in you will feel yourself actually experiencing yourself as part of the scene and the heavy feeling in your stomach is still there.
Now I want you to reach into your stomach and physically remove this weight that you're carrying.
Your burden of choice.
Whatever it is take it out now.
You don't need it.
You don't want it.
And you won't have it weighing you down.
Examine this burden and see it for what it is.
Whatever it once meant to you is no longer relevant.
You have released it so just let it go.
Take a deep cleansing breath here.
You're going to bury this burden in the ground at the foot of this tree.
Cover it with stones or earth or leaves or all of those things.
Whatever seems right.
Say goodbye to those negative unwanted feelings and notice how light you feel once again.
Light and free and airy.
And return to your bubble.
It's just there waiting for you.
Feel it forming around yourself once more.
Your protective bubble that you love so much.
Now that you're lighter again you can begin to float up and return to where you came from with a different feeling inside of you.
A feeling of freedom and calm,
Peace and tranquility.
A feeling of being released from those negative feelings.
Leave the forest now.
You're floating above the trees high in the sky moving back towards that beautiful meadow over the fields and the streams.
The country lanes.
And you're amazed at how much more you can see.
Everything looks crystal clear to you.
And you go back to the puddle.
And you see it a different way.
It's so clean and clear.
Look into the puddle.
What is it that you see?
Perhaps you can notice your own reflection.
How do you look?
Now that you're smiling again,
Feeling light and calm and so relaxed.
Take a nice deep breath.
Now you can open your eyes.
May you have beautiful thoughts flowing through your mind and calm peaceful feelings flowing through your body.
