Today,

We will be tapping for body acceptance and weight release.

As you show your body more love and acceptance,

You will begin to see changes from the inside out.

Let's start off by tuning into your body and feel what you feel when you think about accepting your body right now.

On a scale from zero to 10,

How much resistance do you feel to loving your body?

10 is completely resistant.

It feels impossible to appreciate anything about your body,

And zero is no resistance at all.

Feeling open to love and appreciation of your body.

Go ahead and state your number out loud now or write it down.

Let's begin by taking a nice,

Deep,

Calming breath in and out.

As always,

We start by focusing on how we feel and then lessen the intensity by tapping.

Start by tapping on the side of the hand,

The karate chop point.

Repeat after me in your mind or out loud.

Even though I've had a difficult relationship with my body,

I honor how hard this has been and I accept myself.

Even though I've had a difficult relationship with my body,

I honor how I feel and I am open to being more loving and accepting.

Even though I've been very self critical,

I choose to love and appreciate my body for all it has done for me.

Move to the eyebrow point.

I haven't been kind to my body side of I.

I have judged it when I gained weight under I.

I've been mad at it when I wasn't losing weight under nose.

Sometimes I wish I had a different body under mouth.

It's hard to take care of something collarbone that you don't value under arm.

I see how I haven't loved and valued my body.

Top of head,

I acknowledge this difficult relationship.

Now begin to tap on the eyebrow point.

You don't need to say anything out loud here.

Simply notice the emotions that arise when you think about your relationship with your body tapping on the side of I.

Notice how you feel when you think about how your body looks.

Notice any judgments and emotions that come up moving to under the eye.

Notice how you treat your body.

Are you self critical and harsh?

Think of the way you've been reacting to your body as you allow your body to relax.

Tapping under the nose,

Think of all the things you have said to your body and all the pressure you have put on it.

Notice how all the pressure hasn't helped.

If you could hate your body thin,

You would have succeeded a long time ago.

Notice how this harsh pattern of criticizing your body has only held you back.

Tapping under the mouth,

It's hard to thrive in a harsh,

Critical environment.

Yet your body still does so much for you.

Think about your body with a new sense of compassion for everything it's been through.

Tapping on the collarbone point,

Notice any resistance to appreciating your body.

Sometimes we think if I'm not self critical,

Then things won't change.

But if that was true,

You would have experienced the changes you wanted a long time ago.

Notice again how this pattern of self criticism has only held you back as you move to the underarm point,

Feeling calm in your body.

Notice how it's easy and even enjoyable to take care of something you value.

Notice how it would feel to really value your body,

To want to love it and nurture it to really take care of it to simply love it.

Moving to the top of your head.

Imagine being loving and supportive towards your body.

Notice how much easier it feels to thrive under praise compared to criticism.

Back to the eyebrow point and repeat after me out loud or in your mind.

I now see that I can't criticize myself thin side of I.

All change begins with self love and self care.

Under I,

I've been so busy noticing my flaws under nose.

I haven't seen the beauty of my body and soul.

Under mouth right now and right here.

Collarbone,

I am enough under arm right now and right here.

Top of head.

I have a body that supports me.

Eyebrow,

I start to communicate to my body in a new way.

Side of I body.

I'm sorry.

I have been so harsh under I.

I am here for you now.

Under nose.

I nourish you with loving thoughts.

Under mouth.

I take good care of you because I love you.

Collarbone,

And it feels great to take care of something I love.

Under arm.

I love and accept my body.

Top of head.

And it's so easy to take care of something I value.

Gently stop tapping as you take a nice deep grounding breath in and out.

Check in with how you feel.

Let's check in on the resistance you feel to loving your body right now.

On a scale of zero to ten,

How much resistance do you feel to loving and accepting your body?

Again,

Ten is very resistant and zero is no resistance at all.

Go ahead and state your number out loud now or write it down.

Any shift towards zero means you're moving in the right direction.

If your number is not where you want it to be,

You can repeat this tapping meditation again now or in the future.

Loving and accepting your body more might be subtle,

So pay close attention to the effects of this meditation over the next few days and weeks.

You might find appreciating little things about your body to be easier.

Now pay close attention to the effects of this meditation over the next few days and weeks.

And if you're not aware of the effects of this meditation,

Feel joy and appreciation that you are moving in the right
