I'm going to be guiding you through the safe space within meditation.
This brief and yet compassionate opportunity will support you in tending to the various parts that make up who you are,
And nurture them with the unconditional love they so deserve.
Let's begin.
Start by finding a comfortable seated position and close your eyes if it feels safe to do so.
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
And as you exhale through the mouth,
Let your shoulders soften.
Imagine a space inside you that feels deeply safe and secure.
It might be a place you've been before,
Or one that exists only in your imagination.
A sunlit clearing,
A cozy room,
Or a place wrapped in soft darkness.
Here,
You are welcome.
You belong.
Within this space,
You might sense a gentle presence.
A part of you that is steady,
Kind,
And unwavering.
Perhaps this part places a warm hand on your shoulder,
Or sits quietly beside you.
You don't have to do anything here.
Just be.
Held in warmth.
Supported by yourself.
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
And out through the mouth.
Now,
You might notice other parts join you in this space.
Perhaps parts that felt anxious,
Alone,
Embarrassed,
Or simply not knowing how to connect with all of you.
Welcome these parts into this space,
Acknowledging their presence with love and connection.
Allow them to join you here.
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
And as you exhale,
Carry this sense of safety with you.
Breathe in gentle connection.
And breathe out,
Knowing you have the ability to carry this warmth inside of you.
As you slowly bring your awareness back to where we began,
Remind these parts that you will return to this comforting space and simply be supported.
