As I move through my own grief, I created this meditation with love—for anyone who is also walking this path. Grief isn’t linear, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. In this short outdoor meditation, I invite you to breathe, feel, and gently surrender into the moment—just as you are. I’m here with you, holding space for your heart—always. I'm so proud of you for showing up today,

For wanting to calm your nervous system and have a sense of ease flowing through your body.

It takes a lot of courage to sit with your grief and to feel everything so deeply,

But I'm here to sit with you and to feel with you.

You're not alone.

Inviting you to arrive in this practice fully,

To maybe come to a seat,

Feeling the ground support you wherever you are.

Tuning to your breath,

Not needing to fix it,

Not needing to force it.

Just simply recognize the fullness of yourself through each inhale and exhale.

Softening your gaze,

Maybe closing your eyes,

That feels safe for you.

And allow yourself to feel the here and now of this very moment.

Inhaling and exhaling.

Inviting you to place one hand on your heart or both and simply feel your heart beating,

An indication of the fullness of yourself in this present moment.

You don't have to force anything.

You don't have to be anywhere but here with your heart and with your breath in this very moment,

This here and now.

Inviting you to breathe in the memories of your loved one.

Their smile,

Their laughter,

Their wisdom,

Their hugs,

Their essence.

Those all live within you,

Within the fabric of your being,

Within your breath,

Your heart beating.

Their legacy is interwoven within you.

May you feel their presence right now.

You are not alone.

I am here with you.

Inviting you to take a deep breath in.

Filling your heart space with that love and exhale,

Let go of anything you're holding on to.

Inhaling,

Releasing to feel the ease within your body.

Two more just like that.

Deep breath in and exhale.

Last one,

Best one.

Deep inhale in and exhale.

I love you.

And I know that you will continue to come back to this practice whenever you need a pause because I'm here for you.

I'll be here to sit with you and to give you a warm hug.

It takes a lot of courage to be with your grief.

And I'm so proud of you for showing up today.

Take as much time as you need.

Allow the tears to fall.

Allow the silence to speak to you.

You don't have to rush.

All you have to do is just be here and now.

I love you.

And I honor you.
