So just taking a moment to come into a comfortable seating or lying position.

Taking a deep conscious breath in through the nose and exhaling out through the mouth.

Slowly letting go of all the tension,

Of any stress that your body or your mind has carried through the day.

It's your time now just to relax and let go.

To just be in this moment right here,

Right now.

As you breathe with each exhalation,

Just letting go a little bit more.

Breathing in relaxation and breathing out any tension.

Inhaling relaxation,

Exhaling any tension.

Now I want you to feel into your pregnant body.

Feeling your baby growing inside of you,

Safe and protected.

And like your baby,

As you move through each stage of your pregnancy,

You are also protected and safe.

Your healthy pregnant body is growing perfectly with each stage of your pregnancy.

As you move closer and closer towards that special day where you will give birth.

Everything is unfolding perfectly just as it should.

And in the same way,

Your labor and birth will unfold just as they should.

With ease,

With grace and at the perfect time.

There is nothing to fear because your body is perfectly designed for labor and for giving birth.

Your body knows how to give birth.

It knows when to push and when to rest.

Just in the way you know how to breathe.

There is nothing to fear.

Giving birth is a completely natural function.

Just like you know how to eat,

How to breathe,

Body also knows how to give birth.

I want you to bring to mind now a fear that you have about giving birth.

Whatever that may be.

Whether it's something big or small.

Just something that you need to release.

Just imagine that fear in your mind right now.

Now take a deep breath in through your nose and when you release your breath,

I want you to imagine that you're releasing this fear.

That you're letting it go on the exhalation.

Whatever was bothering you,

Just letting it go now.

Breathing in and exhaling,

Letting it go.

Inhaling in peace and confidence and letting go of any fear.

Just letting it all go.

Now you feel a warmth in your body,

A warm glowing sensation like a gentle white light.

You now feel a warmth in your body,

A warm glowing sensation like a gentle white light flowing through your body.

This is a new feeling to you.

That feeling,

That warm glowing sensation is the renewed feeling of strength and confidence that you have in your body and in your ability to give birth.

It's a feeling of power in your body.

A feeling that you now feel of being more powerful,

More confident in your body's ability to carry your baby and to give birth.

From now,

Each day of your pregnancy that passes,

This light,

This feeling of strength and of confidence will stay with you,

Growing stronger and more powerful with each day that passes.

Any fears that you once felt about birth or your body have faded and are so small that you hardly even notice them.

You feel a renewed sense of trust in your ability to give birth.

You feel strength and power because your body is designed exactly for this purpose,

To grow and birth your beautiful healthy baby.

Everything that you have learned up until this point on this journey that you are on being pregnant is leading you to being more and more empowered.

Just slowly taking a moment to bring your awareness back into your body now,

Back to your breath and back to the space around you.

Everything seems just a little bit lighter and a little bit brighter than it did before.

As you gently open your eyes now,

Taking this feeling of stillness,

Of inner peace and of confidence with you for the rest of the day and for the days and weeks to come,

This feeling staying with you as you move closer and closer to the date of your labour and birth.
