Welcome to this morning meditation,
Designed to ground you in the present moment and cultivate a deep sense of gratitude.
Find a comfortable,
Quiet space where you can sit or lie down.
Allow yourself this time to connect with your inner being and set a positive tone for the day ahead.
Gently close your eyes,
Or lower your gaze if you prefer to keep them open.
Allow your body to relax.
Once you feel relaxed,
I would like you to take three deep breaths.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Hold for a moment,
And exhale slowly through your mouth.
Repeat this another two more times,
Releasing any tension or tightness in your body with each exhale.
Now I would like you to bring your attention to your breath,
Noticing its natural breathing pattern,
Its natural rhythm.
Feel the air entering through your nose,
Cool and refreshing,
And notice the warmth as you exhale.
Allow your breath to guide you into the present moment.
As you find your natural breathing pattern,
I would like you to bring your awareness to your body.
You can start at the top of your head and slowly move your attention down through your body.
Notice any sensations,
Any areas of tension or comfort or even discomfort.
Allow yourself to soften and relax.
Each area can be relaxed as you move through your awareness.
Now I would like you to imagine roots extending from the base of your spine or the soles of your feet,
Deep into the ground below you.
See these roots anchoring you firmly to the ground,
Providing stability and strength.
As you continue your natural breathing pattern,
With each breath feel yourself becoming more grounded,
Steady and secure.
As you feel more secure,
I would just like you to focus on the sound of the music in the background of this track.
Allow it to help you feel connected to a vast interconnected world.
And finally,
I would like you to express your gratitude for the world around you.
You can either express this through thoughts or speaking out aloud.
I would like you to reflect on the natural world,
The warmth of the sun,
The life-giving rain and the beauty of the trees,
The flowers,
The flora and the fauna.
Feel appreciation for the earth beneath you,
Supporting you with its steady presence and allowing you to live an abundant life.
And finally,
When this meditation ends,
I would like you to just imagine moving through your day with ease,
Grace and purpose.
See yourself responding to challenges with patience and embracing moments of joy fully.
Remember to take this time throughout your day to stop,
Pause and appreciate what's around you.
Sometimes we get caught up in the fast-paced lives we live and it's important to take these moments to just show appreciation so we can feel grounded and at ease within ourselves.
Take this sense of peace and appreciation with you today.
