Welcome to the Best Life University podcast.
I'm Dr.
Lynn Brown,
A counselor and educator.
In this podcast,
I discuss a myriad of topics related to the five dimensions of personal growth,
Mental,
Social,
Spiritual,
Emotional,
And physical.
Thanks so much for listening.
Today's topic is,
There is no order of difficulty to problems.
There is no order of difficulty to problems.
We decide what problems are more difficult than others.
This is arbitrary on our part.
Learning how to do one skill or deal with one problem doesn't have to be perceived as more or less difficult than any other challenge that comes your way.
By recognizing that it is useless to rank order problems,
You will avoid putting up barriers to finding solutions.
List three problems you think you made more difficult than others.
Answer the following questions to address each one.
What was the problem?
How did assigning a different more or less difficulty level affect your attitude about solving this problem?
How did this difficulty assignment affect how you solved or attempted to solve this problem?
How would it have been easier to resolve this problem had you not given it this difficulty designation?
