Hello and thank you for joining me in this meditation.
Find yourself a comfortable seat or lay down.
Let's bring our awareness to our feet.
Realizing that bringing our awareness to this area helps bring our energy down from the head to the feet.
Shifting the balance of our energy from busy work mode to grounded stabilizing mode balancing us out.
Now through your feet I want you to imagine that there are two circles on the bottom of your feet.
And these circles are hollow.
These circles allow you to breathe in and out of your feet.
Imagine that on your inhale you can feel air coming up through your feet.
And on your exhale you can feel air exhaling through the soles of your feet.
Now I want you to take your hands and gently start shaking them towards the side of you as if you're shaking off water from your hands.
You can do this by rotating your wrists back and forth.
I invite you to flick your fingers.
Shaking off any old water,
Any old energy from your body,
Watching it as it flows down into the earth.
The earth uses and recycles this old water and she supports us in doing this cleansing exercise.
Shake them really fast now.
Now bring your palms together and do one swipe away from you and then switch and another swipe.
So right hand on top of the left,
Swipe it away.
Left hand on top of the right,
We swipe it away.
Do this a few more times.
I want you to brush off the top of your hands.
Right palm on the top of your left hand with a flick.
Left palm on the top of your right hand with a flick.
And rubbing off any old energy on the hands.
And we're bringing in new life force energy,
Remembering the connection with our feet to the earth.
And we take our right hand and we place it on our left shoulder.
We swipe down the left arm,
Swiping down through the fingertips once again,
Dripping water onto the earth.
We take our left palm on our right shoulder and we swipe down the arm,
Feeling our whole body and our legs as we do this,
Getting rid of any old stagnant energy.
Let's repeat this again.
Right palm to left shoulder,
Swipe it down the arm,
Shake it off.
Left palm to right shoulder,
Swipe it down the arm and shake it off.
Now let's tap our feet a couple times,
Remembering our earth base here.
You can tap them fast if you'd like.
And as you tap your feet,
Go ahead and shake your arms and your hands at the same time.
And start to bounce your shoulders and slow the movement down and keep bouncing your shoulders.
One big exhale.
Okay,
Come to stillness again.
Inhaling and exhaling.
You're grounded like a tall sunflower.
Now let's take our right hand and rub the back of the left shoulder,
The shoulder blade,
The back of the left shoulder blade.
Do this for a few moments as if you're rubbing a baby's back.
And bring that same hand,
Your right hand to your heart for a few moments.
Feeling the breath soften your forehead as you connect with the subtle sensation of your heart.
And releasing that hand,
That right hand down to your right side.
Softening the forehead,
We bring the left hand to the right shoulder blade,
The back of the shoulder blade.
Feeling that stretch across the body and bringing some loving,
Tender awareness to the shoulder blade here just like you're rubbing the back of a baby.
Giving yourself some love.
And we rub our hand to our heart from that area,
Connecting the shoulders and the heart and softening the space.
We hold our left hand over our heart for a few moments here while the right hand is relaxed down to the side.
Feeling our forehead relaxed,
The connection to the heart and the connection of the feet to the earth.
And on our exhale,
We release the hands and the shoulders and we lay here heavy for a few moments.
Feeling we're laying heavy.
Now bring both of your hands gently to your face.
Taking very lightly tapping your forehead.
Softening up any tight areas here.
We bring that tapping of the fingertips to the temples of the forehead now.
Feel free to move organically here.
And we go down the nose,
Loosening up the lymphatic system here on the sides of the nose.
Go ahead from your nose to your cheeks,
Loosen up this area by tapping,
Slightly tapping,
Moving energy around.
You're tapping your cheeks and your nostrils.
You can get the high parts of your cheekbones.
Make a swooping motion from nose to thigh,
Cheekbone and back.
And we go down the sides of the face where the jaw is.
And then we go to the tender part of the neck where the neck meets the jaw where the lymph nodes are and we continue tapping here.
Loosening up the energy.
And creating sound.
Feel free to make any organic noises and tap on your neck.
You are your own sound healer.
Coming down to the collar bones and the chest.
Noticing anything that you may see with your eyes closed here,
Just bringing awareness there.
Feel free to pound your chest gently and fist if that feels good to you.
You can take turns with one hand and then the next.
Or you can use your fingertips,
Whatever feels good in this strong area.
And then final inhale and exhale,
Bringing the arms above the head and we swipe the arms and we shake,
We shake,
Shake,
Shake.
And we sit and we soak up this new energy.
Feeling stillness here and perhaps bringing a soft smile to your face.
Feeling that elongated spine.
Feeling the connection of the whole body from the tip of the head to the tips of the toes.
Feel free to keep breathing here for these last few moments.
