This poem explores the interplay between our physical and spiritual sides and marvels at the delicate dance between our Earthly and eternal selves. Likening life on Earth to a game of spiritual hide and seek, it invites the listener to acknowledge the divine light within all.

I am on the earth,

But am I of the earth?

Or am I just passing through?

Here for a little while,

A cosmic blink,

An experiment of profound mystery,

A field trip to a playground for a game of hide-and-seek,

Until I find myself in you,

And you find yourself in me.

I've found the divine light in you,

And now it is your turn to be it.

I know my fellow illuminated beings are all around me,

Of every background and faith tradition,

And we have more in common regarding where our spirits came from and where we're going than we appear to have in common on earth.

And yet,

We are of the earth,

Indubitably human,

Forged of soil and stardust,

Effort and ease,

Salt and water,

The ephemeral and the eternal.
