Medicine Dream

I found these words in a journal today, and I wanted to share this content because we all feel overburdened from time to time, sometimes too much of the time! I found it healing to be reminded that we're not alone and we are not struggling in vain, although it may feel like it in the moment.

Medicine Dream You don't cry alone, We all cry with you. Father Sky leaves morning due. You don't carry your burden alone, We carry it with you, Just as Mother Earth carries us now. All of your thoughts and words are heard. We are allowed to make mistakes, And there is healing in hardship. We are here for healing, Ourselves and all we are connected to, Which is everything. Perhaps when I feel like I am falling apart, I am actually falling together. I am learning to listen to myself, To love myself, To give to myself and to receive those gifts from others. My body is already healing, Even when I don't yet see the results. Likewise, The groundwork to heal my life has long been in the works, Perhaps in the perceived wounds themselves. All roads lead to healing.
