We are the cycle breakers.
We came out of darkness to be the light we wish we had had.
We found our footing even as we were thrown.
We forged truth out of chaos like a diamond in our hearts.
We courageously tell the chains of trauma reaching back into our ancestry as far as we can see.
Thank you,
But your work is done now.
You can stop here,
In my hands.
Without a positive example of how to parent,
We parent ourselves and our children,
Forging a new path of love out of fear,
Forgiveness out of harm,
Humility out of wounded egos,
Humor out of misery,
And abundance out of scarcity.
We are the cycle breakers.
We know we are worthy,
That we embody unconditional love,
Even if we were conditioned during our experience of ever falling short,
Of failing to achieve that which we never lacked to begin with.
We crack the code that the only way to win is to not play the game.
Day after day,
We wake like the dawn and shine for all.
With our lives,
We rewrite the collective story,
Rewiring our brains as we heal from our pasts,
We build a better future.
We know this is a massive gift.
The work is difficult and immense.
We endured what we are ready to let go of as we transform humankind.
We are strong and compassionate beyond measure.
We are the cycle breakers.
It ends with us.
To my fellow cycle breakers,
Thank you.
I love you.
I see you.
