Session number five.
Recalibration This is for the moment after things begin to settle.
Or when you notice a slight shift.
But don't quite trust it yet.
In this track,
We're going to look at what happens when your nervous system starts to adjust.
And why you don't need to do anything for that process to continue.
We'll begin with the explanation and then move into practice.
After your nervous system has been active,
Scanning,
Preparing,
Staying ready.
Something eventually begins to change.
Not all at once.
And not dramatically.
But gradually the intensity reduces.
The urgency softens.
The need to keep checking starts to ease.
This is recalibration.
Recalibration is not something you do.
It's what your nervous system does when nothing is continuing to activate it.
When demand is removed.
When nothing new is being introduced.
Your system begins to reorganize on its own.
It doesn't need direction.
It doesn't need effort.
It just needs space.
Enough time.
Without interruption.
This is where recalibration often gets cut off.
The moment things start to feel different.
The mind checks.
Is it working?
Am I relaxed yet?
What should I do next?
And that checking.
Reintroduce systematic.
Which brings the nervous system back into activity.
The shift you're looking for.
Doesn't come from doing more.
It comes from not interpreting what's already happening.
Recalibration feels like less.
Less urgency.
Less pressure.
Less need to respond.
It's quiet.
Easy to overlook.
And easy to interrupt.
If you're expecting something more obvious.
So instead of trying to create a shift.
We're going to let the nervous system continue to do what it's already doing.
Before we begin.
You may want to lay down or sit comfortably.
And if it feels okay.
You can gently close your eyes.
Nothing is required after this.
Nothing needs to change right now.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And a gentle breath out through your mouth.
And a deep breath in through your nose.
Exhale gently through your mouth.
Breathe in through your nose.
Breathe out through your mouth.
Not to create anything.
Just to settle into what's already here.
For the next few minutes,
There is nothing to do.
Not even noticing in a particular way.
Let your body be.
Let your mind be.
If things feel slightly different.
Let that be.
If nothing feels different.
Let that be there too.
There is nothing to check.
Nothing to measure.
Nothing to go forward.
Just staying without interrupting.
Your nervous system continues to adjust.
Without direction.
Without effort.
Just through time.
Without demand.
Stay here if you can.
Let the process complete in its own way.
And when it's time.
I'll call you back.
When you're ready.
Gently bring yourself back.
Take a breath in.
And gently let it go.
Notice.
Allah.
And thank you for listening.
