This is a short guided meditation to ground and center. It scans through all five senses in order to fully place oneself in the body.

Transcript

Begin to settle into your seat.

Once you're ready,

Fully feel,

Hear,

And see everything around you.

Begin by noting five things that you can feel.

Perhaps it's the ground beneath your feet,

The chair beneath your seat,

Any five things.

When you are ready,

Move on to four things that you can see.

The colors,

The textures,

The items that are in front of you.

Now,

Think of three things that you can hear.

Perhaps it's my voice,

The wind outside,

General background noise.

Separate and identify it to fully place yourself.

Move your awareness to your sense of taste.

What are two things you can still taste?

Lastly,

Observe your sense of smell.

Are there any sense that you can sense right now?

Begin to observe all of your senses at once.

Fully placing yourself and grounding yourself exactly where you are.
