Begin your practice in a seated or lying down position.
Make yourself comfortable.
Arranging your body so that you feel completely supported for going into a deep state of self-inquiry.
Simply close your eyes.
Take a deep breath.
Relax.
Take another deep breath.
Relax a bit more.
Take one more deep breath.
Hold.
Hold.
Hold.
And exhale through your mouth.
Simply relax and hear my voice and instructions.
If you miss some of the instructions,
Don't worry.
This is normal.
There's no right or wrong experiences with this meditation.
Allow yourself to experience whatever comes up to you moment to moment.
Simply allow the journey to unfold itself just as it is.
Suppose this was your last day.
After this,
You don't know what is tomorrow.
Suppose this was your last chance to know the essence of who you are.
Would you approach in a different way?
If the answer is yes,
Approach like that.
Get the best out of this practice.
Otherwise,
You are not taking the sense of risk to be free.
Your house is on fire and you are painting your bedroom.
You have to get out of the house.
The house of the personal person that brings so much suffering and distortion.
Don't try to upgrade the self,
But transcend the self.
When you transcend the self,
You become more yourself.
You feel more yourself.
The I am-ness is there.
The I am feeling is consciousness.
It is the consciousness that is the aliveness and the life in you.
Your person is concerned with what I am going to do next week and I don't have enough money to pay this.
Or let's do this.
This sounds exciting.
The person is always moving like this,
Concerned about his own security,
His own sort of well-being,
But not really.
If you really could see your well-being,
Would be to really understand your nature in a complete way.
That is the best well-being you can discover.
You have to look at the root of the problem.
What is the root of the problem?
What is the root of all those things trouble your mind?
Don't be afraid because as deep as you go,
As much as you discover,
You are always there.
In the freshest,
The most profound and the most radical discovery,
You'll find you are always there.
Suppose you are coming inside a sacred room to find who you really are.
Leave your mind outside.
Leave everything to do with your past.
You are going to do the practice for a few minutes and when you finish,
You can go back and take your mind back or your past stories back.
Don't worry.
All the things,
They'll still be waiting for you.
So leave all your projections about like I want this or that or even your most beautiful desire for liberation for a moment.
Leave it including your projections,
Understanding,
Or your book knowledge.
Leave everything outside for a moment and even the feeling I,
Any content about I am,
Leave all of that outside.
So you are totally empty and come into the sacred room.
At this moment,
There is nothing to do,
Nowhere to go.
Just be here,
Be now.
Don't use any imagination and visualization.
Just your sober perceiving makes it authentic.
Because to imagine,
You have to be in a mood.
So not even that much effort is to be asked of you.
Right now,
Leave everything outside and you come in.
Your senses are still working.
Your power to perceive is working but not engaging in any thought or memory.
You are going to engage.
You are here now.
Here is a chance to really discover yourself.
Are you in for this?
Simply leave all your ideas aside for a moment and simply be here,
Present,
In what remains now.
Simply leave everything aside for a moment.
Are you here or not?
So,
You are here but not you plus,
Not you and,
Just you.
Your sense of your person,
Your desires,
Attachment,
Everything you've left outside.
Just to have this sense of being only you.
And know next,
Like I've done it,
I'm empty,
Now what?
No.
Don't touch now what?
What's next for a minute?
Because the mind is always waiting for the next experience,
The next thing to do.
So be aware of that but don't go with that.
Leave that.
Simply be.
You are just here.
Give yourself your information list for a moment.
Remember soon you can go back and take your things.
You don't even have to find them,
They'll just jump back on you anyway.
So leave them outside.
You are still here.
Are you suffering this moment?
Is there any anxiety for you?
There's no right answer for this.
Keep looking again.
Just pay attention to your beingness,
The sense of just being.
Be with this.
There's no judgement,
This perception without judgements,
No desires.
Can you have a credible existence without desire and judgement?
Feel.
Feel now.
Are you still here?
Who are you here without your stories and your desires and attachments?
What is it that's really here?
What is it that's really you?
You are in a perfect place to answer from your own experience,
Your first hand experience,
From your own seeing.
You don't need any book,
Just from your own seeing.
Through the senses,
You are perceiving the sense and sense objects,
The sensations.
Just perceiving.
You are aware of them,
But not taking anything personally.
You simply aware.
If there's something that feels I'm disturbed by so and so and so,
That I is also just a thought,
It's just a feeling.
Allow it to drift off.
You are here.
Pay attention only to this being here and notice you are not waiting.
How are you when you are not waiting for the next moment?
How are you when you are just here and now?
This moment,
Nothing to do,
Nowhere to go.
Some irritableness may come because a known habit is not being bad.
Simply be aware of that.
You are like a space in which perception is taking place.
Who is the hero of these sounds?
Who is the feeler of the wind?
Who is it that's aware of this inner silence or perceive that serenity again?
Don't make anything up.
Don't imagine.
Just pure feeling.
It's effortless to be in this effortless place.
Something wants to be affecting,
But that's not you.
That's just another thought,
Another movement.
Maybe you are aware of that,
But don't get connected with that.
Don't get caught up in that.
So anything can be perceived,
But don't log in.
Now rather than pay attention to the things that may arise and pass,
Pay your attention only to the feeling of being which is the space.
Pay your attention only to the feeling of being which is the space in which everything is appearing and disappearing,
Coming and going.
Be only paying attention to the space.
Be one with the space.
Don't be afraid to be in the space.
Don't be afraid to be in the space.
Don't be afraid to be in the space.
Don't be afraid to be in the space.
Don't be afraid to be in the space.
This is yourself.
Is it competitive?
Is it jealous?
Is it insecure?
Does it need to be famous?
Can it go away?
Can it fade?
This is the source being.
The sense I am is really the door that opens out into the fundamental world,
But behind it is total absoluteness.
You know and you are at the same time.
Can it wear off?
You are the perfect being to ask this question because you don't have to be theoretical about it.
You can answer from your experience now.
You,
My friend,
Are not your thoughts.
You are the observer of the thoughts.
The thoughts come from you.
So,
Where are you?
You are in stillness,
The silence between your thoughts.
That stillness,
That silence is you.
And that you is the space for the infinite mind.
Now find your way back into your body.
And remember,
Any time the stresses and worries overwhelm you,
Come back into the sacred room of your being.
You are in stillness.
You are in the silence between your thoughts.
Return to your stillness.
That stillness,
That silence is you.
