This practice begins by letting the body down and allowing everything to melt back to the source - all the experiences, successes, failures, beliefs - everything. This allows us to revel in a silence and empowering sort of freedom. This was recorded at the Ego or True Self: Enneagram of Liberation retreat in Ashland, Oregon.

Let's try a little experiment.

I'll lead you in a guided meditation.

So just get comfortable,

Relaxed.

Let your body be as comfortable as possible,

Making any adjustments.

That's very good.

Can feel so good.

So just let the body down.

Let everything melt back into the source.

The whole world and universe that arose,

All can melt back in,

Back to where it came from.

This whole lifetime that you've experienced,

However many years of formation,

Of building,

Of accretion,

Just all can melt back in to where it came from.

All successes can fall back in.

All failures,

All the failures of our life,

And we've all had so many failures,

You can bear them and they can fall back in.

And then,

When there's no success or failure,

When there's no right or wrong,

When there's no one judging,

You can be very quiet and you can taste your own sweetness,

Your own goodness that is completely empty,

Boundless,

And free.

And you can invite all your relations here.

Everyone starting with all the relations you know,

You can invite them.

They can show up in this,

The good ones and the bad ones,

The ones you love and the ones you hate.

All can come.

All the people you're at war with,

You can invite them here.

Invite them to drink of this nourishment of your own essence.

That's very good.

You can open your heart so wide that everyone in need is invited to come and be nourished by your pure essence.

And the one whose heart opens is the one that then surrenders and falls in to discover no separation by releasing all control.

I don't know if you'll discover places of control that are still holding somewhere,

But they can open now in ways that the conscious mind can't understand.

That's very good.

Being open to everything.

And then you can invite in all of the wounded parts of yourself,

All the places of self-hatred,

All the places of self-doubt,

All the unworthiness,

All the incompetence,

All the unlovability.

Invite it all.

Invite everything.

And notice what happens when everything's invited.

And the one that invites can open and surrender more deeply back into formlessness.

And so when form reappears and bodies reappear,

Personalities reappear,

You don't have to move and everything will come to you.

Always sit and you'll never catch it.

Sit still and it all appears.

Try to grab it and it runs through your fingers.

Open your hands and everything's there.

So becoming aware of the body,

The body's breathing,

Hands and feet.

Stretching if you need to,

Just giving back sensation in the body.

That's so good.

A good practice to help acknowledge as let go of the last. A particularly interesting point made about awareness and more is “chase it and you’ll never catch it; sit still and it comes right to you.” I liked that.
