15. Divine Light

In a world filled with darkness, the Divine Light that connects us all to the Eternal Creator remains hidden deep within our soul. This meditation guides the listener to connect with this light and discover its secrets.

Hello,

Welcome to Guided Jewish Meditations.

My name is Eliezer.

What is Divine Light?

How can light,

An electromagnetic wave,

Measurable using scientific instruments,

Be ascribed with divine properties?

When we speak of Divine Light,

We aren't referring to light that can be measured,

Studied,

Or described using words.

This light is a spiritual light that can only be felt with your soul.

It is a light that connects your soul to the infinite creator of all life.

And during today's meditation,

We will attempt to discover this light,

Hold onto and explore it and discover its secrets.

As we embark on this journey,

Realize that no two people are the same.

Every soul is unique,

A one-of-a-kind spiritual entity carved from the wellspring of life emanating from the source of all.

As such,

It has its own unique way of connecting to its source.

During today's meditation,

Realize that there are no rights or wrongs.

All you can do is follow the paths in your mind and soul.

They exist at this very moment,

Ready to be explored and acquired.

Leave all expectations behind and allow your soul to be your guide.

As we begin,

Please note that it is important to find a quiet place where you can relax and remain undisturbed for about 30 minutes.

To allow your mind and soul to completely take over,

You need to feel safe and able to let go of whatever stress or anxiety you may be feeling.

Let or lay down,

Gently close your eyes and begin breathing deeply and evenly.

Take a deep breath through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely and then exhaling completely through your mouth.

As you breathe in,

Consciously focus on the air entering your body,

Focusing your mind at the very center of your chest,

Feel the air filling your body,

Infusing it with life.

Then exhale slowly and completely and as you feel the air leaving you,

Expel along with it any negative emotions you may be feeling.

Continue breathing this way,

Filling your body with life and light and removing from your consciousness any pain,

Anxiety or fear you may be experiencing until your body is relaxed,

Your mind clear and your soul ready to embark on this divine journey.

Let's take a deep breath through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely and evenly.

As you open your mind's eye,

You find yourself surrounded by an endless ocean of velvety darkness.

Floating in mid-air,

You are encompassed from all sides by an empty void with millions of tiny stars twinkling in the vast expanse that surrounds you and contains you.

The air is warm and completely still,

Yet infused with spiritual energy woven into the very fabric of the world around you.

Nothing exists but your mind,

Alive,

Conscious,

Vibrant and alert.

Take a deep breath,

A comforting sensation of complete security,

A deep sense of safety envelops you from all sides.

Nothing can hurt you in this world.

The pure,

Warm air enters you,

Fills you with its warmth and stirs a divine part within you that has been dormant for so long.

You begin to feel the awakening of your soul deep within you as it slowly begins to radiate and glow within your consciousness.

Weightless and completely relaxed,

You take a deep breath,

Gently clear your mind of all thought and allow your soul to take over.

You you as your meditation on your soul begins to deepen you begin to realize and experience a deep truth Your soul is alive your mind conscious Because it is connected to a divine source this Connection is divine light Connected to your soul that comes to you from beyond It is life in its purest form divine wisdom that infuses all with life as you contemplate this connection an experience of a spiritual divine warmth emanating from your soul begins to form Extending outwards it finds its roots deep within your mind at the point where your conscious mind fades into a sea of light within your soul This warmth begins to flow outwards Into the air before you and begins to form waves of light gently Moving in all directions it vibrates with the connection emanating from your soul its roots deep within your very existence as This light collects all around you it forms a large sphere of light Surrounding you from all sides a cocoon of warmth and a spiritual light Breathe in deeply you are one with this divine light Meditate on it and allow your mind to follow this connection to its infinite source Onto a path where neither time nor space exists you you you you As you continue following this divine connection of light your path comes to a sudden end Looking around you realize that you have come to the end of the sphere of light that formed earlier around you It is as if the light emanating from your soul Cannot continue on the path to its source beyond this point Clearing your mind of all thought you take a deep breath Focus inwards and try and discover the key to completing this connection of divine light Meditating on this light you ask yourself the question that lies at the core of all existence Why does anything exist at all?

Why am I able to ask the question of life?

To ponder the reason to reality and existence Your sentient mind is able to think and reach out and connect to its source because the creator of all gives you this ability at this moment as This truth fills you with its light you feel the barrier before you begin to gently move about slowly Moving the air along with it allowing some of the light Originating from your soul to cross the barrier and move beyond You continue meditating on this truth Allowing it to enter your mind and soul You You You As your meditation on the truth of life and existence continues to intensify You begin to see the barrier before you turn translucent Allowing you to see through it Beyond the barrier filling the endless space around you is a brilliant radiating sea of light uniting all of existence as the radiance of this light Echoes in your soul you feel it reach out Take a hold of the barrier and try to open it wide But the barrier remains closed Your soul takes a hold of the barrier again Trying to open it,

But no amount of trying is enough to breach it Taking a deep breath You gently close your eyes and allow your soul to discover the secret to reaching beyond this barrier and uniting itself with its source The truth to this divine light Lies in this light before you coming from beyond that can only be felt and connected to when the ego is suppressed even eliminated with an all-encompassing acknowledgement and experience that calls forth the ultimate truth of all a truth that permeates all Nothing else exists,

But the infinite source of all There is nothing in independent existence Nothing beyond the control of the eternal your mind is a vessel for this light and the more you allow your ego to recede into the background of your consciousness and Allow your soul to become a vessel for this light The more you are able to experience it As you allow this truth to permeate your mind You see the translucence of the barrier begin to shimmer and vibrate with the thoughts of your mind Moving as does your mind Allowing the light from your soul to flow into this barrier Continue meditating on this reality Nothing has an independent existence,

But the infinite source you you you you you As this reality continues to fill your mind and soul You see the barrier before you dissolve into the light coming from Beyond evaporating into it as the barrier disappears the Brilliant Divine light from Beyond approaches you from all sides flows into the air surrounding you and Binds itself with the light of your soul becoming one with it one divine light United with all of existence your soul and last connected with its source Allow this light to unite itself with your mind and soul realize that nothing has an independent existence The totality of all is the unity of all one United existence with your soul an integral part of it Allow your soul to unite with its source completely together as one undivided unity Become one with this divine light you you you you you We are approaching the conclusion of this meditation Gently allow your mind to find its way back to the present your body and your surroundings Do so slowly while taking deep breaths until you feel you have completely returned you you Thank you for joining me for today's meditation The Divine light that keeps us alive is there all the time Waiting for us to discover it and connect to it Just as your body is a vessel for your soul So too is your soul a vessel for this light?
