My name is Eliezer.
I am grateful you have chosen to spend the next 30 minutes or so with me in meditation.
This is your time to let go of your daily struggles,
Anxieties and fears.
Whatever is going on in your life,
Whether it be challenges in your health,
Family,
Job or elsewhere,
Try and give yourself the gift of putting them aside for half an hour.
If you can accept your life and who you are,
Just for a little bit,
And allow the forces that are beyond your control to have an effect on you,
Your meditation experience will be deeper and more meaningful.
During this meditation,
We will focus on prayer.
It is a fascinating fact that prayer is an integral practice across all religions.
For millennia,
The people of this world have turned to prayer as a means to reach what is beyond,
Because prayer is the language of the soul,
And to be alive is to be given a soul by the source of all.
Prayer is a privilege.
It is an opportunity to create and enhance our very own personal relationship with the spiritual and divine source of the life force within us.
The ancient Jewish word for prayer is Tefillah,
Which at its root is synonymous with the term to judge.
To pray is to judge oneself.
It is to take a close,
Intimate view of oneself,
Of one's goals,
Aspirations and needs,
And to then take this evaluation and apply it to the divine relationship between us and what lies beyond.
It is to recognize that we are not alone in life,
That everything in our lives serves a purpose,
And that we can infuse everything with a divine spark by recognizing its deeper purpose,
And by using it to enhance our relationship with the divine.
Prayer is about forming and continuously expanding our relationship with the source of all.
As we begin this meditation,
Try and find a place and time you won't be disturbed for about half an hour.
Turn off your phone.
Whatever is waiting out there,
Allow yourself to push it to the back of your mind during this meditation.
You can sit or lie down,
Whatever makes you feel safe and relaxed.
One of the reasons meditation focuses so heavily on breathing techniques is because it helps us stabilize our minds,
Which is the foundation of any meditation.
By breathing deeply and evenly,
We allow the focus of our being to shift from our body to our mind.
This in turn allows us to experience the divine.
Begin by settling in,
Gently closing your eyes and taking a deep breath in through your nose.
Hold the air in your lungs for a second or two and exhale completely through your mouth.
With each progressive breath,
Try and visualize the air entering your body as being infused with spiritual energy,
Both revitalizing your spirit as well as further relaxing you.
And as you exhale,
Allow the air departing your body to take along with it any anxieties,
Fears,
Expectations or tension you may be feeling at this time.
As you continue with this breathing exercise,
Allow your entire body to fade into a trance-like relaxed state and make your mind the focal point of your entire existence.
With each breath,
Allow your entire body to take along with it any anxieties,

You open your mind's eye and find yourself standing on a platform of white marble stones.
The stones beneath your feet feel warm,
Smooth and ancient.
As you look around,
You see the platform extend in all directions as far as the eye can see.
The air is calm and warm and above you,
The sky is speckled with millions and millions of stars.
As you breathe in deeply,
You sense a deep,
Ancient wisdom emanating from the very stones you're standing on.
You have a closer look at the stones around you and you see that each one is engraved with the name of a person.
As you contemplate each stone,
You feel it reaching out to you,
Wanting to tell you its story.
A gentle,
Beautiful harmonic hum begins to reach the edges of your mind,
Filling it with words you don't understand but instinctively know are deeply meaningful and significant.
As you continue to breathe in deeply,
You feel a spiritual gravity extend itself to your soul from a spot further ahead.
You allow the gravitational pull to take a hold of your soul,
Filling you with spiritual energy drawing you closer.
As you take the first few steps towards this spot ahead,
A feeling of weightlessness washes over you and the air around you begins to gently radiate with divine energy.

As you continue walking towards the source of the gravitational pull,
The hum in your mind becomes even more melodic and beautiful.
Ancient words mix with the music creating a spiritual orchestra filling your mind and soul with joy.
The radiating energy in the air around you continues to intensify as you allow your soul to direct your steps towards this spot in the distance.
As you approach the spot ahead,
The beautiful music in your mind takes on an almost physical dimension.
You allow your soul to guide you for the final few steps towards your goal.
Here you feel it say to you,
This is your place,
This is your moment,
This is your time.
You look down and see the large white marble stone you're standing on radiate with intense energy.
As you look closer,
You see the stone is engraved with your very own name.
Intense feelings of joy,
Purpose and gratitude wash over you as you breathe in deeply.
You feel completely safe.
Nothing can harm you.
The source is waiting for you and only you.
Standing tall on your stone,
You lift your eyes towards the heavens.
You feel as if all of time has been waiting for this moment,
Your moment,
For you to stand here and allow your soul to reach out to the infinite source.
As your confidence grows,
You prepare your mind and soul for prayer.
As you are about to open your mind and soul to pray,
The music suddenly stops,
Bathing everything around you in complete and utter silence.
It is as if all of existence has been waiting for this moment as you allow your soul to call out to its creator.
As you begin to pray,
You feel your very essence being surrounded by waves of spiritual warmth and light.
As you are about to open your mind and soul to prayer,
The music suddenly stops,
Bathing everything around you in complete and utter silence.
As you are about to open your mind and soul to prayer,

As the prayers of your soul intensify,
You feel the radiating spiritual energy around you.
It draws your soul out of your very body,
Lifting you up and making you one with all of existence.
You begin to experience an all-encompassing truth.
It forms deep within your very essence and spreads itself to every fiber of your being.
It is at this moment that you realize that all of your life's challenges,
Everything you've come to pray for today,
Is meant to draw you closer to the source of all.
You begin to understand that you don't pray because you have challenges.
Rather,
You have challenges in order for you to pray.
These challenges were designed just for you and they are meant to bring you here,
At this moment,
To this sacred stone,
In order for you to reach out to your Creator.
It is not hurting to pray that much,
But All this is only an inscrutable message of As this truth permeates your mind,
You feel the entire area around you pulsate with intense energy.
Suddenly you see rays of exquisite white light shoot out from all the stones around you and form columns into the night sky.
The words of your very own prayer reverberate and echo all around you and turn into a column of light shooting upwards forming a central column.
As you breathe in deeply,
You meditate on the central truth.
Nothing is random.
Everything exists for a reason.
You are meant to live your life,
At this time,
Facing your challenges because you are part of a master plan.
Allow your soul to completely break down all spiritual barriers.
Reach out and pray.
Philip It is now time to return to your body and to the physical realm.
Do so slowly,
Using deep breaths to take you back to the present.
As you breathe in deeply,
Allow your mind and senses to slowly return to your surroundings.
Take your time and focus on your breathing until you feel you are fully in the present.
