Hello,
And thank you for being here.
This is a chakra balancing meditation.
So we will move through each chakras and their qualities one by one to help you find balance and release any stuck energy.
So let's start by finding a comfortable position,
Maybe sitting on a chair cross legged on the earth or lying on your back.
Just settle in,
Get comfortable,
Make any adjustments that you need.
And then begin to close your eyes.
Take a couple of deep breaths in and out your nose filling up the belly,
Filling up the rib cage and the chest and then gently releasing from top to bottom.
We'll start with the root chakra.
Mooladhara chakra.
So beginning here,
Feeling your weight on the ground,
The connection of your body against the earth,
Or the bed,
Or the yoga mat or whatever it is that is holding you,
Supporting you.
Visualizing roots growing from your sit bones or your feet all the way down into the core of the earth.
Feeling yourself grounded.
And then visualizing yourself in a place that makes you feel at home.
Imagining the colors and textures and all the details of what this place looks like.
Maybe it's your actual home or bedroom.
Maybe it is a place that brings back a special memory.
Somewhere that you feel safe and secure.
Begin to deepen your breath.
Bringing that breath in and out through the nose.
Imagining that you are breathing in a smell that is associated with this place.
Seeing this place in the color red and repeating to yourself,
I am safe and secure.
I am safe and secure.
Next,
Moving to the sacral chakra or svaristhana chakra.
So keeping yourself rooted down there,
Rooted in your mooladhara chakra.
Rising up to your pelvic region,
Your sacral region.
Begin to find a gentle sway side to side,
Back and forth or maybe around in circles.
Imagining yourself like seaweed at the bottom of the sea.
Or maybe imagining yourself like the flowing water itself.
Visualizing yourself dancing freely and creatively.
The embodiment of water moving to your heart's desire.
Letting your feelings,
Your inner wisdom or intuition guide you.
Letting your emotion guide you.
Feeling your emotions.
Feeling this sense of freedom.
Just like the freedom and fluidity of water or the freedom and fluidity of a young person dancing through the grass.
Visualizing yourself in your fullest expression,
Whatever that looks like for you.
Letting the color orange wash over these images.
Taking a moment to taste some food that gives you so much pleasure and makes you feel fully alive.
Savoring the taste of that food in your mouth.
Telling yourself,
I am creative and free.
I let myself feel and flow.
I am creative and free.
I let myself feel and flow.
Taking a deep breath in,
A deep breath out.
Moving up to the solar plexus or manipura chakra.
Space just above the navel.
Now beginning to imagine a big ball of bright yellow light radiating outward from this space.
It is like a fiery sun expanding you,
Letting you feel your inner confidence,
Your energy,
Your power.
And standing in that power,
Maybe opening your chest a little bit more,
Rising up through the crown of your head a little bit more,
Lifting that sternum.
And telling yourself,
I am confident and powerful.
I am confident and powerful just as I am.
And now moving up to the heart chakra or anahata chakra.
And feeling or imagining a soft breeze kiss your skin.
Feeling or imagining the air around you hugging your body like a tender touch or a warm embrace.
Feeling into your heart space.
Just noticing what's going on there.
Feeling to mind the image of someone that you love or someone who loves you.
And letting the color green wash over the image of their face.
Feeling compassion for this person and feeling a sense of deep peace when you look at them.
And then expanding that sense of compassion,
Peace,
Love to all those around you,
All those beyond that person.
Imagining that you can feel that sense of compassion and love for even your greatest enemy or the person that challenges you most.
Because true pure love is just like a puppy dog running up to every single person it sees with excitement and joy.
And repeating to yourself,
I give and receive love freely.
I give and receive love freely.
Deep breath in,
Deep breath out.
Using your attention your awareness up now to your throat area,
Your Vishuddha chakra and visualizing the color blue.
Now inviting a soft humming to the back of your throat.
Mmmmm buzzing sound activating your vagus nerve,
Your relaxation response.
Visualizing yourself being yourself,
Your truest most authentic self.
Visualizing yourself speaking your truth and tapping into what that would feel like in this moment.
Mmmmm repeating to yourself,
I speak my truth and live and my fullest expression.
I speak my truth and live in my fullest expression.
Now moving up to the third eye center,
Your Ajna chakra pulling your gaze toward that space in between your brows.
Mmmmm connecting now with our intuition.
Visualizing yourself as a beautiful bird in a purple sky,
Gazing down and seeing everything on earth.
All of the daily concerns and struggles and to do lists and worries.
Seeing it all from a bird's eye perspective.
Feeling the deep knowing that everything is going to be alright.
In the broader scheme of things everything already is alright.
Saying to yourself,
I am divinely guided and supported and embracing this in every cell of your being.
I am divinely guided and supported.
The crown chakra,
Sahasraddha.
Imagining a white light coming out of the top of your head.
Visualizing your skin and the boundary of your body dissolving into the space around it.
Your cells and atoms merging into the space around what was you.
Understanding how you are connected to everything around you.
All of it matter and energy vibrating together.
The essence of you is universal energy and stardust being expressed as consciousness,
As awareness,
As pure love.
You are the universe being expressed as a uniquely divine being.
Bring your hands onto your heart and take a deep breath in this knowing.
Exhale to let go.
Blinking your eyes open.
