We'll start off by just taking a comfortable seat wherever you are.
Make yourself cozy and just make sure that there's going to be no distractions throughout your meditation practice.
Just take a deep breath in and let it go with a sigh.
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Just take this moment to begin to bring your awareness inward.
To begin to move from a place of thinking to feeling.
Taking the sensations in your body and taking a little weather check internally.
How are you feeling today physically,
Mentally,
Emotionally?
Just taking this next few minutes or so to be fully present with yourself.
Start by bringing your awareness to the base of your spine.
Breathing in and out through your nose,
Bring your attention to that space.
Begin to sense a presence of a subtle channel of energy running up through the center of your body,
Through the crown of your head.
A subtle energy moving along your spine.
Just let this attention flow with your breath.
Up and down along your spine,
Gathering all of your awareness inward.
Bring all of your attention and energy toward this inner channel.
You may feel this as an expansion,
A tingling or a subtle electricity.
Breathing in and out through your nose,
Recognizing this Shakti,
This prana,
Life force energy within you.
And begin to gather your attention toward your heart space.
Toward that place along the spine where your heart chakra lives.
Inhaling and exhaling into your heart space as if it has nostrils of its own.
And inhaling with the feeling that your breath moves through the heart and exhaling with the feeling that your breath moves out the back of your body.
Breathing in through your heart and exhaling out the back body.
Begin to become aware of a subtle energy behind you,
Supporting you like a back rest.
Let yourself feel supported by that subtle energy behind you.
Let yourself lean into it.
Let that energy embrace you and hold you just a little bit.
Now allow that energy to flow out of you and surround you on all sides,
Enveloping you.
And with long,
Slow breaths,
Breathe into any areas of your body that feel stuck or tight or maybe just need a little extra love and care.
And recognize that what you're breathing is Shakti.
This energy that we cultivated up through the bottom of our spine.
This energy that pervades the universe,
That is the source and at the same time,
Everything around us.
This primordial dynamism,
This creative flow of the universe,
This source of all creation.
And take this moment to think about what you want to manifest with this energy,
This Shakti.
We all experience the birthing process regardless of gender or sex,
Even though we say that this Shakti is the divine feminine energy embodied.
This divine feminine energy lives within us all.
So what is it that you want to birth into the world?
What is it that you want to create?
A new project or business,
Maybe a piece of art or a new hobby,
Maybe an idea,
A way of living or an intention.
Allow yourself to get creative with it.
What is it that you want to birth into the world?
And with this Shakti flowing freely,
Just remembering that your power is infinite and it is always available within you to tap into at any point in time.
Bowing your chin to your chest,
Locking in this intention.
