My friend, did you forget? You are home to your peace. You can breathe your way there. You can return to the path of peace and feel more calm, steady, grounded energy within you. This meditation includes Alternate Nostril Breathing (Nadi Shodhana) which involves breathing through one nostril at a time. You will be guided during the meditation however here is how it works: 1. Gentle close off your right nostril with your thumb. 2. Inhale through your left nostril. 3. Close the left nostril with your ring finger, release the thumb, and exhale out the right nostril. 4. Inhale through the right nostril. 5. Close the right nostril with your thumb as you release the ring finger and exhale out your left nostril. 6. Repeat. Enjoy.

My friend,

There is a place within you that is always peaceful,

Calm and grounded.

You just have to breathe your way there.

Allow yourself to soften here.

Really land and arrive in this moment.

Right away,

Letting go of how you think you should feel.

Letting go of all the shoulds and allowing.

Breathe in slow.

Let it go.

Inhale,

Really feel your lungs expand.

Exhale,

Feel your chest,

Your belly fall.

Just simply steady your mind onto your breath.

Aware of the inhale.

Aware of the exhale.

Feel how the breath can slow down the mind.

Allow every cell in your body to soften.

Be still.

There is nowhere to go but right here.

And that is okay.

Right here is enough.

Right here is all you need.

Inhale.

Exhale.

My friend,

Have you forgotten there is peace within you?

Always.

You are home to peace.

You are home to calm.

You are home to peace.

Start to feel this relief in remembering.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Gently bring your right hand towards your face.

Bringing your peace fingers to your forehead.

Resting your ring finger and your thumb over your nostrils.

This is alternate nostril breathing.

Sealing the lips closed.

You will close your left nostril with your ring finger.

Inhale through the right.

Close the right nostril.

Exhale out the left.

Inhale through the left.

Close the left.

Exhale out the right.

Allow your right hand to rest down.

Breathe in through your nose.

Big sigh out your mouth.

Notice what you notice.

Letting go of any judgment.

My friend,

What happens is,

Breath by breath,

We walk ourselves back home to this beautiful place within us that is peaceful,

Steady,

Grounding.

You can imagine walking through the woods on a very narrow trail.

And every breath you take allows you to push back the branches to pave the way.

Step by step,

Breath by breath,

You stay the course.

And although the branches are thick,

The path is challenging,

You keep moving.

Every inhale,

Pulling branches back,

And every exhale,

Stepping forward.

Peeling back the layers.

Making your way.

Breathing.

Letting go of any judgment.

Breathing.

Until you take one more step,

And you inhale,

And as you exhale,

You make it into this beautiful clearing,

This opening,

That reveals a beautiful lake that is steady,

Vast,

And you feel the relief in your exhale.

You are home to peace.

You are home to calm.

You just have to remember to breathe your way there,

And stay the course.

Allow your mind to rest here in this visualization for a moment longer,

Breathing and allowing yourself to reap the benefits of this space.

Breathe in slow.

Exhale.

Releasing the visual.

Committing to the space.

Releasing the visual.

Coming back to your heart right here,

Right now.

How do you feel in this moment now?

What gifts has your breath brought you?

And every time you inhale and exhale,

What is it that you can remember?

Steady breath in.

Steady breath out.

You,

My friend,

Are never breathing alone.

Someone,

Somewhere is always inhaling and exhaling right with you.

May that comfort you.

May you remember you are home to peace,

To calm,

To steady energy.

One more deep breath in.

Let it go.

From my heart to yours.

From my heart to yours.
