Hello,
I'm Eden Sky Orion and welcome to the daily gratitude practice.
This practice is meant to join you whenever it fits into your day.
So wherever and however you find yourself right now,
Sit back or lie down.
This time is for you.
Begin to notice how your body feels in this moment.
Notice if there are any places in your body that are yearning for your attention.
If there are any movements your body wants to naturally take or if there's any repositioning that would allow you to feel more comfortable,
Go ahead and give that to yourself now.
Turn your attention towards your body breathing and notice the quality of your breath.
Notice the places where you can stretch your breath,
Making it just a bit deeper,
A bit more full,
A bit more nourishing.
As you inhale,
Feel the way your breath expands within you.
As you exhale,
Allow your body to soften.
Inhale expand,
Exhale soften.
Inhale expand,
Exhale soften.
Gratitude is a powerful mechanism for healing,
Growth,
And honoring where we are and all we have in the present moment.
Gratitude does not demand that we live in absolutes.
It only asks for small moments of presence,
Moments of connection to our heart,
And recognition of the ways we're interdependent with the people and the world around us.
Bring your awareness to your heart space now and call forward one thing you are grateful for,
Large or small.
Dive into this point of gratitude.
What does it look like,
Feel like,
Sound like?
What do you notice in your body when you think about this thing in your life?
What does it bring up in your mind?
What value does it add to your life?
How does it support you or who you are becoming?
And finally,
How might you express your gratitude to it today?
Let's give gratitude to the sacred earth we are resting on together right now.
The earth who holds us in her gravitational embrace,
Whose plants breathe with us in reciprocal exchange,
And whose beings live alongside us as our planetary family.
Start to feel into your breath once more.
Feel your body,
Feel your space.
I am so grateful to you for sharing your practice with me today.
Have a wonderful day.
