Hello everyone,

How are you doing?

Sorry for my silence,

But I've been quite busy with a lot of stuff.

And to tell you the truth,

I've been a bad teddy bear lately.

So I was not even able to use any technology.

My dad wanted to teach me something,

And now I got it.

So everything is cool.

Let me tell you all about it.

But first,

Since you're good ones,

Let's all jump in the bed,

Get comfy and be ready for a good night's sleep.

So,

As I was saying,

In the last month,

I wanted to do a lot of things.

I kept myself busy,

Busy,

Busy,

Busy.

But then I was not doing what I was supposed to do.

My dad is very easygoing,

And he lets me have different interests and passions as long as I keep my room clean,

I shower every day,

I brush my hair,

I help him around the house and solve the chores.

But lately,

As I said,

I've been so busy,

And also so bad.

One day my dad told me,

You got to clean your room.

And of course I pretended not to hear him.

And I just said,

I'll do it.

Guess what?

I didn't do it straight away.

I did it the next day,

And not even a day after that.

Another day,

My dad told me to stop on my way back from school,

At the grocery store,

To get some milk for the next day.

For our breakfast.

But instead,

I decided to go to the park with my friends.

We stayed there and played all afternoon and when I realized how late it was,

I just rushed home.

And I certainly forgot the milk.

My dad was not happy at all.

And later that evening,

While everyone was sleeping,

He had to go to the store to get some.

We all drink milk in the morning,

Either in the cappuccino or with the cereals.

Even Gray loves the cappuccino fall,

And he gets annoyed if he doesn't have time for breakfast.

My dad was again very nice,

Sweet and thoughtful.

The complete opposite of what I was that day.

And wait,

This is a crazy one.

It was a very hard day.

My dad had to get up super early to go to work.

He was actually flying to another city for some important meetings.

He had everything ready for our breakfast.

He prepared sandwiches and he even got us a scheduled delivery for our dinner.

The night before,

He told me several times to do just one thing.

After breakfast,

Please take out the trash.

Tomorrow is going to be a very hard day and we can't leave the trash in.

The smell will be just too much and not good at all.

Gray and I woke up late because we snoozed the alarm several times.

Then we rushed out of bed,

We had a very quick breakfast.

We didn't even brush our teeth and left the house rushing to school.

Guess what?

What happened to the trash?

It stayed in the house all day.

It stayed in the house all day.

Flies were taking advantage of the situation and when dad got home in the evening,

He was very upset.

Gray and I didn't even realize or have any concerns about it.

We were on the couch eating pizza.

And we were watching TV.

That was the end of my bad behavior.

Because daddy really wanted to teach me something valuable for me and for life.

He turned off the TV and had a conversation with Gray and me.

And talked about the new,

Well they were not actually new,

But from that moment they were going to be strict rules.

With consequences if we didn't respect them.

Rule number one.

If I ask you to do something,

Do it straight away.

Whatever you are doing,

Can wait a second.

Rule number two.

Keep your room tidy and clean.

Rule number three.

Take at least one shower per day and especially if you did some sport activities.

Rule number four.

Brush your teeth regularly and at least twice a day.

Rule number five.

If you use something,

Then put it back to where it was.

Daddy didn't allow Gray and me to use any technologies for two weeks.

We were looking at the remote control and our phones from the distance.

And you don't know how many times we were tempted to grab them.

And there was an even bigger consequence if we did that.

We were going to be without technology for an extra day every single time we were trying to use it.

So at the end,

The two weeks passed and then we even got used.

We started talking to each other more.

We were able to focus on our projects and schools even more.

Now we actually use them even less and sometimes we even forget about them.

I learned my lessons for real and I guess that today you did learn something too.

But now it is time to sleep.

Daddy knew I was going to record something for you guys.

And I'm sure he will be happily surprised when he listens to this recording too.

I wish you sweet dreams.

Or as we say in Eton,

Sunny daughter.

I'll catch up with you soon.

Ciao!
