Have you brushed your teeth?
If not,
I'm gonna be here waiting for you while I play a tune.
I guess you're back.
Welcome back.
Have you got comfortable in your bed and got your favorite stuffed animal or favorite toy with you?
If not,
Go and grab it.
I have to confess you that right now,
Next to me,
This is my favorite teddy bear and he's looking at me.
He's actually telling me that he loves me and that he's very very proud of me.
I bet that yours is saying something similar to you.
Mine is also telling me that even though sometimes I make a mistake,
Though I'm not perfect all the times,
It is perfectly fine because no one is and will ever be.
My teddy bear once told me a story.
Would you like to hear it?
Okay,
Let's get coffee.
My teddy bear name is Chad.
You won't believe how many things and lessons he has already told me.
He's very smart and I'm very proud of him and he is of me.
Hello hello,
My name is Charlie but I'm Iranian.
I'm not from here but I come from Italy,
A beautiful country very far from here.
Oh,
I forgot to tell you that here is Los Angeles.
Yes,
It is the place where they make movies.
I'm sure you watch some movies too.
Yeah,
The weather is pretty cool.
We don't have a real wind too and I don't know if you know but there are beautiful beaches that you can go to.
Sometimes you can see dolphins and sea lions.
There are a lot of birds and other animals too.
Oh,
And there's Disney World for some adventures and fun.
I could talk about Los Angeles for hours so I better stop.
As I said before I come from Italy.
I'm sure you had pizza once or twice and maybe you tried pasta too.
The food is so good and fresh.
There are a lot of things to see.
There are different animals,
There are different seas,
Lakes and rivers.
We have mountains,
Hills,
Valleys.
Have you ever heard about the Romans?
They lived a long,
Long time ago in Italy and they built a lot of different buildings and things not only in Italy but in all Europe.
To be honest,
I'm surprised they didn't come to Los Angeles.
Well,
Many years ago when I was still in Italy,
I decided to move away.
I packed my stuff,
I said bye to my friends and I left.
I was so excited about it.
And since I was moving far away,
I had to take no more flights but two.
A friend was so kind to bring me to the airport for my first flight.
I was sitting waiting for my plane thinking about the next day when I was going to be in a different continent.
Living in a big city,
Making new friends and starting a new life.
I was so happy and I could not stay still.
I remember I had to stand up a couple of times and right there inside the airport I started dancing with joy.
I actually have my own joy dance and I think all the people should have a joy dance.
A special routine that they can perform when they are happy and sometimes even when they are a bit sad so that they can cheer themselves up.
I can teach you mine because everyone has to come up with his own.
So tomorrow,
Think about it,
I come up with a beautiful dance and a joy routine.
Let me go back to the story now.
I took my flight and I got to stop in France where my sister lives.
She actually surprised me and she came to say hi and bye at the airport.
She even gave me a necklace to wish me good luck.
While waiting for the next flight we chatted and chatted and gave each other a big big big big big pie hug.
And there I was on the second plane heading to Los Angeles,
America.
I was so so so so so so happy and even a bit nervous.
But the excitement was so much bigger than all the rest.
I took a nap because I was so tired and you know the rest.
I live in Los Angeles and I love it.
Now I let my friend talk to you because he has something special to say before we all fall asleep.
Because I don't know about you but my eyes are far too close to him.
Charlie,
I'm back.
I'm sure you love Charlie's story.
He's so cute.
He's next to me and he's already sleeping.
I wonder what is he dreaming about?
I'm so glad you stopped by and I hope you will come and visit me again and again.
For now I just want to wish you a good night and sweet dreams.
And the way we said it in my country,
Sonidoro.
Tchau tchau.
Tchau tchau.
Tchau tchau.
Tchau tchau.
Tchau tchau.
Tchau tchau.
Tchau tchau.
Tchau tchau.
