Unfortunately, during our lives we have got to experience the sufferance and the pain of some people close to us who are literally counting the days to the moment when they will leave mother earth. Nobody can truly understand what they are going through, how devastated they can be. We have to be strong, to be there for them to encourage them and support them as much as we can. Today, we take some time to reflect on the fact that life is so volatile and for this reason we try to focus even more on the present moment. We let our emotions take their path, we can even cry in order to be stronger for the person who is leaving his/her life and ours. Looking forward to being here with me.

Hello,

Welcome to this meditation during which we will try to find some relief,

Some peace.

In those situations when someone close to us,

Some of them we care for,

That we love,

Knows that his or her days are just a few more to live,

Unfortunately there are a lot of diseases which destroy our bodies,

Make us weak,

They take us closer to death.

Many times we have to be strong for these people around us,

Next to us,

Because they are the people who really need us to be strong,

We really need someone close to them who will support them,

Give them strength,

Hope,

What is known as hope.

It's ok if you're doing this meditation,

You let it go,

You're gonna cry maybe,

This is your moment to let go,

To find the strength that you need for later.

It doesn't matter if you're doing this meditation lying down,

Seated,

Walking,

Except that you're walking,

Close your eyes when you're breathing,

Or just bring a soft gaze,

Start focusing on your breath.

We all know that we have to live the moment,

The next minute can be there but we're not sure if it's gonna be there next hour,

Even the next day,

We really have to live the moment.

Maybe the fact that we are close to somebody who's slowly or quickly heading to her death make us understand this important message of living the moment.

Just take three breaths,

When you inhale,

You hold,

When you try to exhale,

You feel the exhalation that is a little longer than inhalation,

You can even decide to make a sigh or sound to do it's exhalation,

Hold it,

And let it go,

Inhale again,

One more,

Inhale,

Hold it,

Now go back to your normal breath,

Keep focusing on these moments,

All recent thoughts will come,

They will ask for attention,

They just don't fight them,

Turn your attention to the breath,

Relax,

Sleep more,

Of all the sufferings,

All the sadness,

Again it's okay if you wanna cry,

Imagine how difficult for these people is to know that they are 36 months,

Maybe,

And I know you're suffering too,

Because you know that you won't be able to see them again,

You won't be able to hold them,

Take care of them,

For this reason let's focus on the present,

The moments of a little joy that we can have with them,

The time we spend together,

Talking,

Maybe just holding a hand,

Keep breathing,

I'll let you a few minutes in silence,

When you let everything go,

Again if you have sadness inside yourself,

There can be some harmonies in your feelings,

Just keep doing it,

Just do it,

Slowly come back to yourself,

To your physical body,

To feel something tingling somewhere in your body,

Represent that,

To return even more to the physical state,

To your senses,

To hear things,

Sounds around you,

Smell,

Scent,

Maybe the food you cooked last night,

Touch,

Your skin,

A blanket,

Your hair,

Fat,

And then if I miss that,

Open your eyes,

Breathe in,

Maybe it was just for a few minutes,

And find some kind of relief,

Some peace inside you,

Even through sadness,

The sufferings of others in your life,

Thank you for taking the time to meditate with me,

I wish you the best,

Namaste.
