Let's start our day by taking good care of our body and our mind. We grant ourselves a moment before heading our energy into the different tasks of our day. We learn the ability to return to ourselves, even in those challenging moments of our lives.

Good morning.

I hope you're doing well.

Today we're going to start the day with a short meditation.

Sometimes when we get up we feel more tired than when we went to bed.

Because during the night we feel a lot of emotions.

Sometimes we don't sleep that well.

But we have this opportunity to wake up gently,

Kindly,

Taking care of our body and our mind.

So if your eyes are still closed just keep them like that or just close your eyes,

Relax,

Let your body be cuddled and be held by the mattress,

Covered by soft blankets or sheets.

Don't think about the things that you are supposed to do,

All the tasks,

The responsibilities of the day.

Just let your body relax,

Focus on the breath.

Maybe the inhalation will bring some fresh air that is much more fresh than the one that exits our nostrils or our mouth.

If some thoughts come and visit you,

Let them come and go their way.

And now put a hand over your heart,

The beautiful heart of yours.

And maybe you can even decide to give a little massage to your heart,

Show some tenderness and some compassion,

Empathy for yourself.

That beautiful organ that gives so much energy to our body,

To our mind.

Again,

We start the day taking care of ourselves,

Taking care of our body,

Taking care of our mind.

Because we have to be the first person who takes care of ourselves.

Before we care about other people we need to care about ourselves,

Love ourselves,

Give the best affection and tenderness that we can.

Now let your hand slide next to your leg or your belly,

Wherever it feels comfortable.

Let's enjoy this moment of tranquility,

Stillness,

Remembering during the day that we always have this safe place,

This beautiful moment of tranquility,

Of peace.

So whenever we feel stressed,

Overwhelmed,

Tired of our responsibilities,

Tasks to do,

Things that other people expect from us,

We can always come back to this moment of stillness,

This moment of peace and tranquility.

Whenever you feel ready you can start with your fingers and toes,

Maybe give a little stretch.

And then when you're really ready you can gently and slowly open your eyes and start your day with this feeling of softness.
