Settle into your seat,
Slowing down,
Becoming still and heavy.
Begin to deepen your inhale and slow your exhale.

Our mantra today comes from the Hebrew word shalom,
Which can variously mean peace,
Wholeness,
Harmony,
Or equanimity.
Pick one of those and begin offering it to yourself.
May I find peace.
May I have wholeness.
Or some phrasing that suits you.
May I find harmony.
Breathing.
By extending that wish to those around you,
Your family,
Friends,
And loved ones.
Let them have shalom.
May they experience equanimity.
Or some phrase that suits you better.
Repeating to yourself as you breathe.
And now send it broader still.
May the world find peace,
Wholeness,
Completion.
