Maybe take a few long,
Deep breaths.
Inspiring on the in-breath,
Relaxing on the out-breath.
And scanning your body from the top of your head to the tip of your toes.
Feel into your body.
Your tribe.
You're at home with yourself.
Feel your heartbeat.
In sync with the heartbeat of the earth.
Mother earth.
Gaia.
Each of us,
A child of the universe,
The product of love from thousands.
Feel into your own family,
Whose love brought your soul into this material world.
Families which have always done the best they could with what they knew.
Our own family,
Our first ecosystem,
The fertile soil from which we are born and which we grow.
Where we are first truly seen,
Heard,
Held and loved.
Honored for the miracle we are.
Hired just by being ourselves.
Our family,
The nest where we are nurtured and encouraged to fly.
The roots of connection and belonging.
A mirror to our goodness and gifts.
A playground of joy,
Learning and co-creation.
The door where we walk in,
Walk back,
A door that we can slam and still be loved.
Our family,
The pond that ripples,
The wave with its troughs and crests.
The vast ocean of possibility.
It is the party where we learn to celebrate.
It is the welcome mat for any thought,
Feeling or emotion.
Where we learn to nurture the child within and to parent ourselves.
It is the safe harbour that we can return to after our travels.
It is the healing balm where we learn about our own wounds and how we are our own medicine.
It is the sun shining light on what is ours and what belongs to others and wounds,
Beliefs,
Possessions,
Devotion.
Here on this day we visualise all guardians doing their own healing and conscious journey to bring forth consciousness in the next generation.
Where past,
Present and future generations hold ancestral knowledge and healing.
Honouring our tree of life,
Our birth family,
Our chosen family,
Our community family,
Our interbeing family.
We feel into the kinship with all beings and non-beings.
Our earth family.
We are all kin.
We are all home.
Feeling into this deep connection,
Love and belonging,
This wider sense of family.
Come back to your senses.
Open your eyes and relish this day on earth our home.
